Look at some web design gallery and then look at our websites = disgust. We can be much better. At least let's make one common central page (multilanguage) instead tens one man website.
ethereum has a great site Yes I agree. It is better then NXT websites but I think there is a lot of useless information - It is site for people with interested in cryptocurrency world but not for ordinary people.

Ordinary people do not want see how it works in core (forging; 51% attack resistence; proof of stake, proof of work...). They need know only What is benefit.

This is true, but sometimes it can be effectve to sketch out the drawbacks of Bitcoin (51% attack) and then compare to NXT. It's all about making it accesible and easy to understand for *everyone*

"Web site quality" is subjective. What you define as the perfect content is what someone else defines as utter crap. You have provided nothing but vague criticism without a clear proposal for what you think is better. Creating the perfect Nxt web site is not a problem that is simply solved by hiring someone. Whoever builds it has to understand the community, the technology, the strategy, and the vision. The community itself cannot agree on those things. Be constructive. Propose something concrete (more than "the sites are crap and these expensive guys can build one") and pitch it to the marketing committee. We will then vote.

I'm trying to find out if there is a demand for a new site. I want to help. Can not do it alone. Make great website is not simple - I know it. I am web developer with 8 years experience. This requires a major debate.

This requires a major debate. I don't see any need for debate at all right now. If u have the skills to make something better than what we currently have, then put some work into building a prototype, even as a very rough sketch of what u intend it to be. Show us that u have something to deliver, then the funding will come your way. This is not aimed personally at godt, but: I'm seeing a lot of people pitching vague plans, asking for funding for projects that are nothing more than complete vaporware. May I suggest that u put some work in, prove that you have something useful, then put your hand out........

Letters for different groups of people1. What is Nxt cryptocurrency? Resources for journalists http://justpaste.it/nxt-introduction-4-journalists- sent to "some" journalists by emails, but the website is prepared for twitter communications 2. Would you accept Nxt cryptocurrency? Open letter for shops and exchanges http://justpaste.it/accept-nxt- sent via email and forms to "some" exchanges - I should reveal a list this time so there won't have to be any doublework: forms I filled on their websites: emails I found on their websites: 3. Make Nxt Your Blockchain: An Invitation To Universities and Academic Researchers http://justpaste.it/nxt-intro-4-academics- I am still not very satisfied with this text, I think it needs some more work. - But this letter is very important, it is about new devs, new experts, new master and phd theses written about Nxt, about Nxt being mentioned ana analyzed on the conferences, in the science books. - But this letter could be sent only with some proofs, with prepared scientific texts 4. I think next letter could be for businessmen...

I'm working on the 3D printed items for Nxt conferences, other promotions or for you just to have physical piece of Nxt. Maybe if you going to give some amount of NXT as a gift to somebody, you could present it with 3D printed item related with Nxt. My silver edition of the Nxt CPU auction is running and it would be great if you could share it as much as you can and it could bring some new people to the Nxt. Let me know if you have some interest about ordering 3D printed items.

I'll ask the BTC-Conf. guys to set up a link to ..........i assume nxtcrypto.org? Any other ideas, get back to me.

Ok guys, I might sound like a dick but I need to point out this since I want the best for nxt: Fatih is not the designer we are looking for when we need a logo, a brochure or some stuff with typography. In my opinion he lacks a feeling for proportions, colors, typography and doesn't know what's fashionable. I like his 3d work, though. Btw salsacz also lacks these things. No offense, guys.
we need some talented guys or girls for this work since we shouldn't rely on hobbyists with this.
When evildave needs a logo, it should be clear where to go. If we need some brochures, it should be clear where to go.
Oh, and the last one: no gradients in the nxt logo. It looks mediocre and outdated (Simple speeking: flat is the 'new' skeumorphism).
Now you can hate me.

http://tpbit.blogspot.ca/2014/03/crypto-20-systems.htmlNXT NXT is a very ambitious project. It combines a lot of features of projects that already exist into a single product. It uses a Proof of Stake mining algorithm from Peercoin, offers an alias system similar to one found in Namecoin and a messaging system like Bitmessage. There is also a number of other features planned, including a distributed exchange, file storage, smart contracts, turing-complete scripts and many others.
NXT has its own blockchain with 1 minute blocks, as well as its own codebase separate from Bitcoin (unlike a lot of "copycoins"). All coins in the circulation were sold in a fundraiser at coin's inception raising $800k for the development of the project.
There are a few criticisms directed at NXT. First of all, since NXT addresses are way shorter than Bitcoin and use only numbers, meaning that address collisions are inevitable. Because of this, there is a separate mechanism for handling such situations - whoever uses the address first owns it, the next person to generate the same address with a different keypair can't use it. This makes creating addresses offline very dangerous.
Another criticism is the use of PoS algorithm with all of the coins being sold up-front. This essentially gives a lot of power to the initial investors. They will earn most of all the fees in the system and they are incentivized to hoard their coins. With the value of nxts being many orders of magnitude higher than the initial price, some people see it as market manipulation.
Finally, I have heard that the NXT developer community is rather small. If there isn't enough interest in a project like this, it might be the final make-or-break of NXT.
Overall, NXT is a project with a good potential. Unburdened from the use of Bitcoin blockchain it certainly has more room to expand and grow than Colored Coins or perhaps even Mastercoin. At the same time, unless NXT starts gaining more trust and traction, it might not be going anywhere with its ambitious goals.

I think we should focus on how to land AE to the public, together with the client of Wesleyh.
We should focus on this in the next 3 weeks, because I think it will all be ready in April.
I hate the idea that we release it, but nobody knows about it like the most of our releases.
