What are the chances BTC is replaced by something better soon?

This post was around 4 years ago and no crypto currency has replaced bitcoin till now it means btc is gonna remain the first and the top Crypto currency for longer periods.

Indeed, this is the best indicator. Four years - quite a long time. And bitcoin showed that he took the leading position because he is the first entered the market and even after so much time it remained the leader.

I have said already that it is impossible for those alternative crypto currencies to replace Bitcoin at this moment and even for 3 to 5 years will past I don't think that Bitcoin will be replaced on the top rank in terms of its market capitalization. People will still stick to Bitcoin no matter what, Why? Because Bitcoin has proven a lot throughout the years that passed in terms of its value and its superior security which is absolutely awesome. 

In my own point of view, I really think that Bitcoin will be at the top rank for decades and no one will reach close to it, Seriously I really believe in this Innovation and technology that the Legendary Satoshi Nakamoto created and it is one of the most awesome that happened on the internet.

I agree with you and I too acknowledge the inventor of such a great innovation. I'm also of the opinion, that BTC will not be replaced as there is too much sentiment associated with this coin and people will therefore value it.

It's difficult to happen if there is a coin that can replace all the benefits and functions of Bitcoin because you can see for yourself all still depend on the price of Bitcoin at the present moment. if Bitcoin has decreased in price you can see for yourself that other coins will decrease in price.

I think can not replaced bitcoin is doing best so many people use it and very popular in cryptocurrency market so what you ask for, If the number one crypto the first and at the top you use why you use other cryptos if bitcoin is flexible and the most trusted coins in cryptos. We should be wise in using other cryptos i'm grateful to use bitcoin i earn a lot and transferring money is fast rather than banks.

As of recently, there is still no preferable Currency that will replace over bitcoin. I don't agree with that.
It's true that many prosperous coins appear on the market but they usualy come and go. And none of them so far hasn't grown even near to Bitcoin. The best job so far has done Ethereum but even that coin isn't threat to Bitcoin.
To my opinion the coin that could replace Bitcoin should rely on completely new, revolutionary technology that would be miles better than Bitcoin and blockchain and I don't see something like that in the near future.
I'm convinced that Bitcoin will keep the throne for many years.

If its purely based on use case, i believe there will be a currency in the future which will serve better the intended use case of bitcoin.  One of the major criticisms of bitcoin even today, compare to ethereum for example, is the fact that bitcoin no longer serve its use case of a means of payment.  Today bitcoin is much more about a store of value more than anything else.  On this basis, i believe there will be an altcoin which may replace bitcoin as the de facto crypto means of payment currency.  The very value of bitcoin today is one of the criticism from states and corporations also, which is why they have put up such a fight against crypto in general.  I think that everyone embraces blockchain tech but they may want another crypto to be the lead coin before mass adoption.  In the end, only time will tell i guess.

Maybe it can be replaced with ETH or bitcoin cash. I know bitcoin is the number one currency and mother of all alt coins but we should not forget second and third coins which are Eth and bitcoin cash. Both currencies have the huge stamina and they're increasing more than bitcoin since BTC is losing its price I don't have any idea why it dumping but if you look at eth and bitcoin cash they're going up if the things happen of 1 year I can bitcoin not only replace but it can vanish.

I think Ethereum and its competitors have the highest chance to replace BTC as currency. The reason I believe is that BTC lacks intrinsic value, enabling BTC to be only accepted by those who perceive BTC as valuable. Any other cryptocurrency that has intrinsic value, higher than BTC have more potential to replace fiat.

I think that today those chances are close to 0 because bitcoin is considered as the main and not replaceable cryptocurrency, at the same time when we're having a chance of alternative cryptocurrencies. What countries are concerned about bitcoin normally.

There will be a lot of chances in the future for sure but in this point of time I am hundred percent sure that the bitcoins will be unbeatable for the next two consecutive years because the distance between the bitcoins and the other competitors on this league is very far the bitcoins is always to he top but no one can even commpete with the same behavior
