Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

They can You are buying long tested in stock miners dude there is not need to wait for assembly and testing Yeah i forgot that their test room is dusty so even an hour of testing looks like mounts of mining but who cares The key point is that you know the price and if you pay it today you are having the miner tomorrow. That kind of service can not be archived from no one for the moment. if you think price is ok just go for it. Honestly speaking for me it does not matter if the unit was mined for a month even more or it is brand new. If price suits me and service is cool then all is good.

Notr for purchasers:
Do not buy the 650w thermtake PSU, as I junked 18 of them, all bad within a week of powering 1 ant, using 1 PCI-e and 1 rewired CPU 8 pin. Also having a bit of trouble with the Roswell 750w 80+ bronze, 5/10 of them have burned out.
thats gotta hurt!! were your thermtake 650s bronzes as well? my OCZ1000w gold 80+ for 2 miners OC to 400Mhz easy!! (has 6, SIX PCI-e ports) ( i use 375Mhz due to ambient heat) also my ants also arrived sparkling new, no dust at all under fans or in grills - in the 2 weeks iv had em they've accumulated plenty... not to say theyre not premined but mine were very very clean (like new) apart from the dribbled out thermal paste on the 2nd rig old boards on new heatsinks? hardly seems worth the bother.. Well that's bad. Just received several Thermaltake 630W Berlin ( http://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-Power-Supply-240-Pin-SP-630P/dp/B0062VH9TG/) This one has 2 x 6+2 Pin. You think the ants will burn them if overclocked to 400?

NOTE: I have not nor I am planning to overclock my Ant.

My experiences so far. The PSU's on higher speeds obviously also work at lower speeds.
375Mhz (190GH/s): Corsair 500w CX works fine Corsair 600w CXM works fine (modulair, comes with 1 PCI-e cable but the split is long enough to reach both plugs) Coolermaster 600w works fine (note: only 1 PCI-e cable which is split in the end. Not long enough so you'll need an extension cable)
400Mhz (200GH/s): beQuiet! System Power 600w works fine OCZ ModStream 600w works fine (modulair with 2 separate PCI-e cables, PERFECT!)

Thanks Based on.... ? the main wallet accumulative payments since holiday Yeah, 2500 doesn't seem completely off, considering 14 pages of incoming transactions looking like 1.45BTC/unit - I wonder if the hashrate will drop 450TH on Saturday, wouldn't mind that a bit

Let's hope that doesn't mean they have a shortage of 50TH of units = 277 units not delivered until the next batch. Probably not.

Yes this is really strange behavior. if you can run 400TH you can also run a few p2pool nodes. no fees at all and everything is under your control. tx fees as a expample.

they certainly like a pre mine they do.... Who cares about so called "pre-mining" as long as they deliver in good working order on the date specified. It isn't like if the things had just sat around they would be more valuable. Pre-mining is only a problem in cases like BFL where they say they will deliver on date X and then end up delivering on X+Y because they were pre-mining for Y days while not giving the customer any refund.
