I would just like to ask how long does it take for shipping to Europe? Like...they start shipping on 8th Feb, when do they arrive?

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I've ordered several times from the Bitmain website. Usually 2-4 days (not counting the weekend) shipped to the Netherlands.

I have powered up my miner and connected the ethernet-cable to my laptop. But I cant access the Antminer via its IP.

Whats wrong?

Edit; I followed this (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344970.0) guide at first, changing the network settings and w/e. But now I se other guides that just connect miner and pc and then just type in the IP in the browser to access the miner.

Now nothing works.. Grin

пpивeт

The default gateway on the miner is I believe 192.168.1.1
Most of the latest miners shipped with the ip address 192.168.1.99

So got to your network adapter settings (NOT the wifi the LAN adapter) and change your IPv4 settings to:

IP address: 192.168.1.254
Subnet: It will be set automatically
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Then type your miners IP in your browser

Thank you, nice and easy!

Ok guys I have asked this question before but got no response so I decided to show you what I mean:

Any explanation from the Antminer gurus why my NOT OVERCLOCKED Antminer hits these speeds?

I am not saying I am not happy but,
Is this going to cause a problem to my miner?

Please let me know.

Thank you Smiley

Look at the average rather than the current speed and it shows to be running at good speed. It will go up and down due to pool or even internet connection but as long as you are happy with the speeds and there is no x's on the chips then you are all good. Which chip sped are you currently on ? Just to double check 375 is default

What do u mean chip speed?

I did not overclock.
The only modification I did was to disable NTPD as I was getting errors and wouldn't connect.

Also if you notice, apart from the speeds my score is usually the same, sometimes it goes higher to 0.004 but also down to 0.002

The pool doesn't know how fast your miner is running.  It is estimating the speed based on how many shares you've submitted in "x" amount of time.  If you look at the shift with ~328GH/S you submitted a third of your normal share count per 6 minute shift in only 1 minute which made the pool think your hashrate had increased.

Most pools calculate your speed based on submitted shares and some specific time (usually 30-60 minutes) and that's what it shows. look at your 1day average that's closer to true speed. Also if you look at you antminter directly it will show you your current hushing speed and average that's closer to its current performance.

8 days is a long time in mining.  What's the word on Feb 8 orders placed now if the price drops again?

My S1 is using 430w but that's overclocked.  I would be more interested in the temperature than the speed itself, which will vary somewhat.  Mine is running @ 44 both sides, again that's clocked.  I did install a fan on the front side which seems to make a big difference.

Happy Mining!

What speed are you overclocking it up to?  And what type of power supply?

400
202.19 GH/s   (99.86%) (Guild)

Power Supply is an 1100 watt Dell from a Precision desktop.

I also run all my stuff through APC 1500's which have an LCD readout that gives you stats on your electric
incoming voltage
current load (watts)
out voltage

and a few other things less interesting

OK, but is your score the same as mine, between 0.002-0.005%?

I think that's what matters.

Your score is just a percentage of the entire pool, everything is fine. Stop worrying Cheesy

I don't mine at GHash.io, but that's likely the worker's target diff.
