I bought Corsair CX600M for mine and I intend to overclock. It has 552W of DC power, which should be sufficient Smiley
£54 was a good price.

Since thats the bronze model, and
since overclocking will use up more than 90% of its capacity, and
since these machines will be running 24/7

wouldnt that run the risk of burning more money at the wall for power(enough to justify paying for gold version)

First I thought BITMAIN is using resellers to enter the market and then take over the market themself by selling on their own website.
But now I understand that BITMAIN is here to stay.
Why?
BITMAIN and all their resellers using the same price.
We all have heard stories about Chinese companies cheating their partners, but that is past history.
Companies who are trustworth to their partners have build an imperium outside China, while companies who cheat stay small.

You do realize that this is incorrect, right?

And if you'd like to respond, I'd like you to list the actual resellers of this product. We can stick with S1's for the time being.

This is my biggest issue with Bitmain (and Sushi) right now, aside from the fact that they're completely selective about the messages they answer.

I got 2 setup today and they are hashing at 190 each at 375 Frequency. One of my ants has a blinking red LED on the controller board but everything seems to hash fine. Anyone know what this code means?

I am running one off a 700 watt Antec and the other off a 750 watt Antec no problems at all. I don't think I'm going to bother pushing it to 400 I'm happy where its at.

As for the hardware, I love the industrial look to it and it was much smaller in person than I expected. Looking forward to seeing what the price is after the Chinese new year, I would certainly buy more of these for the right price.

2 thumbs up for Bitmain. A company that has a product in stock and doesn't finance its business with other peoples money tied up in pre orders. I cant believe how fast the shipping was and $28 in import fees only, wow!
Even if I don't ROI in BTC I am happy to have this piece of bitcoin history in my hobbyist collection! You have now set the bar for service in the Bitcoin mining industry!

Thank you very much and have a great new year, enjoy your time off and I cant wait to see what you have coming up!

what are those Antec's (bronze/silver/platinum)
$28 for which country?

See my earlier post. Mine are using 400W at the wall for 200GH/s using a power supply which is ~89% efficient at that load. He won't be pulling anywhere near 90% of that PSU's capacity.

Thanks for your measurements btw. Now I feel better about buying these PSUs.
350W from the PSU is perfect Smiley That's 65% of its capacity.

The Corsair CX600M is a good PSU, but they are really over priced in the UK.
If £54 in the UK is a good price then they are really cheap in The Netherlands.
I build a HTPC for my sister using the same PSU.
It only cost 49.99 Euro

I am mostly certain they are flying now and when they are scanned in Europe (most probably in Koln, Germany) the status will reflect that.

There's also Ninjaboon and then someone from Korea who doesn't seem like he's legit.

Did you see the initial price fluctuations? Correct me if I'm wrong, but Bitmain started selling units at 2.4 while Sushi was selling at 3.0.

So product is sold to one person for one price, and to another for another price. The only person who profits is Bitmain, and this can royally screw the people who are stuck selling for more because they're charged for more.

And that's just the distributors... Don't even get me started on the way that they're handing out coupons to certain people and not others.

I'll be happy to retract all my statements, but the bottom line is that I've posted about this in other threads and I haven't even been acknowledged. I want them to tell me I'm wrong, I like the product. I don't think anyone has a bone to pick with the actual product. The way they do business is another story.

Well the official guide states that OC miners run at 500-525w

My kill-a-watt reports 425W drawn from the wall at 120V by my one ant OC'd to 400MHz (gold PS).

I'm using 750W power supplies to power 1.5 ants each (3 blades).  No problems so far.

I bought it 1.5 month ago for 49.99 when they lower prices for Christmas sales.
They are now at their originally price.
http://www.mycom.nl/componenten/voedingen/11365/corsair-cxm-600w

You have to look good for discounts.
I bought some Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 1200 watt at Alternate for 279.95 2 month ago.
They are now 299.90
http://www.alternate.nl/be_quiet!/Dark_Power_Pro_10_1200W,_1200_Watt_voeding/html/product/1012049/?tk=7&lk=9531
Last week I bought the same PSU at Azerty for 272.65
http://azerty.nl/producten/product_detail/1073/536943/be-quiet-dark-power-pro-10-1200w-voeding-intern-atx12v-2-31-eps12v-2-92-80-plus-gold-100-240-volt-wisselstroom-v-.html?channel_code=57

Yesterday I ask you if the Corsair AX 1200i was a good choice, I almost bought it until I ran into 4allshop
http://www.4allshop.nl/102922/be-quiet-dark-power-pro-p10-1200w.html
Only 224,00
I bought 4, now they are out of stock

Same here. I bought my EVGA 1300W for 150GBP.
And recently a CoolerMaster V1000 from Ebay for 115GBP.
But if you are time pressed there is no time to wait for deals: I needed 9 PSUs for the Ands, so found the CX600M for 54, which here is a good deal.
