wouldnt trust 5year contracts from unknown company
unknown company? Wouldn´t call a company "unknown" which is selling/sold hashingpower on ebay and has an excellent track record. 5 year contracts doesn´t really matter in mining. What you think your payouts will be after 2-3 years? Dust Most ROI you make in the first year. I reached positive ROI in about 7 months on some contracts already. These are my first contracts ( prize was 0.008 back then if i remember correctly) Happy mining So an untrusted user is the only one that posts that kind of proof

On front page i have: "Current Rate: 0.0015 BTC / GHs" I can reproduce the problem faced by petahashminer. When I first loads the site, the price shown on the page is 0.0021 BTC, but after a few refreshing, it becomes 0.0015.

Annoying? It's an issue in your browser which keeps old information in cache so it has nothing to do with PBMining.

Hello everyone! A few months back I shared the stats on my contracts, so that anyone could have real data to evaluate. It's with pride that I have now reached ProfitLand in all my contracts As such, I'm sharing the stats again. The nonbelievers and Ponzi-lovers in here will probably not like them Since I was also one of the happy winners of Labour Day's giveaway, I'm also sharing the stats on that(bottom part) so you can get a real fell of the maximum profitability PBmining is giving - since there was no investment done on that contract, the profits shown for this contract represent the maximum you could achieve. The best I can tell you is that by initial expectations - 20 weeks / 4 Months for breakeven - were not met, but it was still with the 6 months / 26 weeks period that I considered this investment worth the risk. But that was then. The current numbers are not that good - things got way worst after April 20th, the best price point ever, with only 21 weeks for breakeven . I leave you these data so you can all do your own math and risk assessment. The current average payout per GH/s is still higher than other cloud mining options out there, but it's no longer attractive. Meanwhile, I will keep enjoying the next 6 months of good profit, before it all turns to mere dust levels. And the giveaway's precious compensation funds As for the remaining years, I guess they won't matter that much, but hey, it's still profit Have a nice Sunday, everyone

Exel? So before the comment, I have to say that I totally agree with the concept that a Bitcoin is always a Bitcoin regardless of the current price, but now that you have been very organised on your calculations, why dont you include BTC/USD rates as well? I will be a lot more realistic and dont think you really "profit" taking this into account! RD

How do you calculate this? Exel?
Yes, it's an Excel spreadsheet But the calculations are fairly simple, if you look at the columns titles It's just simple math. If your thinking about how I get the payouts and all other information from PB's site, then don't bother : It's all copy/paste And I've been keeping these records since day one, so it wasn't hard to have them No fancy stuff, no programming, no APIs, parsing algorithms and whatnot. Just plain old copy/paste from one browser window to an Excel one

interesting, i guess the BTC are worth a lot less fiat than when you paid for the contracts.
Unfortunetly, that is the awful truth. I don't want even to remember how much those invested bitcoins cost me at the time. :-( Also, take in consideration that I always reinvested all the payouts, so the total invested sum is higher than the actual BTC I had to invest. So, let me be clear. The profit is in BTC. That's an old discussion here, and I always said the same: I see this as an investment in BTC. As such, it has paid out. But in Fiat, no, it hasn't. And it will probably never will - not only is BTC/USD in decline, but I got my BTC in Euros - the drop is even more significant. Rough estimate I would say I'm about 56% of breakeven in EUR ... But hey, if BTC suddenly went up to 450 EUR (it's around 260 this weekend), I would be in profit Again, for me, the investment is double: PBmining is an investment in BTC. It pays, but considerably less and probably only worth for the first 12/18 months. BTC itself is also an investment, in EUR. It's way off paying out ... but that's my fault. I could had joined the game when it was worth less than 100 EUR .. but I only got in when it was already down to 420 and dropping like a rock :-( Cheers.
