As far as those who mention catching a falling knife. I've been involved in about a dozen of these pumps-and-dumps including DRK in earlier cases. Each one says the same thing: "This coin is different.This coin has great fundamentals. This coin has a great active development staff." Then the coin gets pumped and dumped and you have so many bagholders.

But DRK seems different to me. It seems as though whenever a whale sells a lot there is an even bigger whale there to support the price.

The thing that makes DRK different is that it has an extremely useful feature, that can be used NOW.

A couple of people have PM'd me asking if they should hold onto their DRK or sell it and try to buy back later.

If you have to ask someone else, my suggestion would be not to trade.  I'd suggest holding and slowly selling off a small percentage of your holdings every X to XX point rise to lock in profits with the goal of never selling all your coins.  That way, even if the coin goes to $1000/coin you still have 5 coins, 2 coins, or even .5 coins to continue to lock in profits on the way up with.  If there is a large multi-day pullback after you lock in some profits above that point and you still like the fundamentals of the coin (don't let your emotions dictate the fundamentals!) then use PART of those profits to reinvest. 

Don't play the day to day swings, you'll get killed.

Darkcoin is acting like a catalyst for cryptocurrencies. Unlike the fail-trends of memecoins/animalcoins/colorcoins/pos-coins etc privacy is actually something useful that needs enhancement.

Litecoin in particular has been threatened by DRK's catalytic effect at least twice:

1. Threat of X11 fork
2. Now, with the rise of DRK and their planning of their defense strategy.

Some people just don't learn. It's EXACTLY the same thing which happened a week earlier.
Bear trap 30% before the next round up. I got some @ 0.02 but not much, was a bit late...

I sold my DRK I got at .019 at .024 so I would love to see it go down to .018 and buy again and increase my stake

A lot of people were complaining about how they missed out on the big rise in the price of DRK. I told them to buy on the dips because this coin has a huge upside potential. You are a good example of how one can invest even after a coin goes up.

Most coins I would not suggest people do this. Most coins are pumps and dumps. DRK has been at this level long enough for me to think it's going higher.

This thread is getting so depressing.  It's been taken over by the ugliest faces of humanity.  I really don't want to come here anymore but I do because I want to know if something is happening.  Glad to see some of you old timers have the energy, LimLims, coins101 and Alex. 

I'll come back tomorrow with hopefully a better outlook, LOL.  Hope we can have some positive discussions then.   

I agree. For real discussion I now only go to Darkcointalk, but I fear missing something important here and skim over the thread. We need someone/something to filter and select the unmissable posts and link them somewhere else

I can't see it. At this point the Bitcoin commitee would take 18 months deciding they needed to pee, than argue about it all the way to the bathroom. Bitcoin has it's place, as the transparent sibling of Darkcoins opacity. Both serve their purpose and anything else right now is a solution looking for a problem that doesn't exist.

Exactly. DRK is the first alt which truly stand out. Look at the top 100 richest wallet, the most of them are buying more. If the whales don't fear, should we?

Panic sell to 0.019 and one hour later it climbs back to almost 0.024. DRK is really amazing beyond any expectation.
