Damn guys. This is crazy. What are you guys doing? I'm so tempted to.......  I sold off all my VTC I had mined over the last 2 months when I just got into crypto and bought into DRK at $10 per coin and have made $2 per coin already  |

Thre was a question today about the status of the masternode. When I update my MN it works for some time have the status 1, is seen on http://darkcoin.io/masternodes.txt and http://drk.poolhash.org/darksend.html and even I see it after command: darkcoind masternode list | grep "my IP:1" After couple of hours it gets status 0 as you can see bolow....any idea? I have elestic IP on my ec2...any idea? screen: http://scr.hu/1ame/o2mmrbtw 1. My btc has entered on mintpal just before the rise and was lucky to buy @ 0,02001  uffff btw 2. I have wrote to www.bankier.pl one of the most popular portal with economics info in Poland to get closer to darkcoin so meaby they will write some news too...let you know later if tthey put us on the board |

I think it's safe to say now nobody knows how far darkcoin can go. This is something the crypto world has never seen before. I can reminisce about how many people were telling me to sell at $1, $2, $3, etc. I'm so happy I can think for myself.  My group of investors has a target of a one billion dollar + market cap. But even then, our plan is not to sell. We're creating a business around DRK (a legal one). |

You missed what I said later in that thread when I explained WHY: I'll be completely transparent about what I am doing.
1. I am a large holder of DRK. It is one of my primary investments. In V2 of Darksend, the DRK developer plans to implement ring signatures. Putting a large bounty on the implementation of ring signatures into DRM helps me better gauge my DRK investment.
2. Putting a bounty on the copying of Darksend once it is open sourced helps me better gauge my DRK investment.
3. I hold a little over 50,000 DRM. If someone takes me up on my challenge and is successful, I'll make a decent return in time and have a nice hedge to my DRK investment. But truthfully, this is about DRK. I am happy to continue supporting DRM with additional bounties if the initial two are successful because it will continue to help me evaluate my DRK investment.
4. I have placed the initial 10btc in a private bounty address. You can see the transaction ID here: Transaction ID: ed6e45cf443527cf8ed8f5852594b183f8419a3b45999244745bcdddff0a81d8 -- I am not going to put it in escrow though. I have been on bitcointalk.com for a LONG time and am a trusted entity. If a developer isn't comfortable with that, they shouldn't take me up on my offer.
I figured you guys could use the help. Things weren't looking very hot for you guys and if someone successfully implements these technologies, you should profit nicely. And hopefully this results in a highly competent dev becoming passionate and taking over DRM. |

The question is, can DRK get to $100?  It's only a matter of time, it can go to 100 or 1000 or even more. Short term 100, mid term 1000, 3 years 10000. But only if Darksend is secure and if Darkcoin gains mainstream attention and if the Tor markets switch to Darkcoin and if Darkcoin get used as an anonymous commodity. Thats a lot of ifs.... But sure it can happen, look at Bitcoin. |

BTC started the experminet, and DRK is as close to a finalized solution that the crypto community has thus far spawned. With a dev that keeps moving along with the moving target, DRK has, by far, the best chance to become the final product that the BTC experiment was meant to catalyze.

This would put it around ~ $68-$70 mill MCAP. I don't think this kind of sudden jumps are healthy. Last thing we want is newcomers who have their confidence shaken if things go sideways even for short term. Hopefully they are doing their homework. I saw in IRC some precious metals site started accepting DRK. Very cool in my opinion. |
