I think the D with the dash '-' in the middle is genius.

+1. Really like it.

Dash in the middle is indeed a touch of genius. While I still dislike the word, I fell in love with this graph Smiley

All current sketches just showing us: "DASH is good name - we can do many cool stuff with it".

I think after a half a year it will be possible to organize a competition for a new design and select best of creativity.
But now it is very important to inherit the current style of Darkcoin.

People have to be confident: "Darkcoin isn't dead and hasn't change it's principals - It just becomes DASH"

"Digital Cash" is a good additional slogan - but It can't be used and protected as a TradeMark.

Thanks to everyone that +1'd my logo.

Here's a bit of an improvement, including what I think would be a good slogan.

Here. I actually took a few minutes to clean it up and do it in Illustrator rather than my quickie earlier version.

Loogs good - I think the tag line should be just 'digital cash' because cash is private and instant already Cheesy

EDIT: I like that the first letter D looks like reversed C for Cash..Dash! v good

Could have animated version with the D rotating to a C and back..(rotating around Y axis if u know what i mean)

I agree, digital cashes sounds extremely clunky. Besides, the whole point is not to only redefine the brand for coinstuff, it needs a little vagueness so that it can include other features that Dash can show off.

it's clunky but guy in the street knows what cash is so it's an easy leap for him to get what Dash is from there

Love it!

Rebrand should be organised as soon as possible. Word is out no time to waste.

Totally agree.  Input & acceptance from non-techies, e.g. Grandma & Grandpa, is essential to adoption.

Ok, I see where you are going with it but it's important to point out that it will be more than just about digital cash.  What else? We don't know at the moment, but that's why the brand can't be overly specific with its name because then you couldn't easily offer more separate services that operate within the brand.

For example, say a digital descentralized loaning service came out and it is policed by the Master Nodes.  If you call it Digital Cash then branding that specific service becomes a chore. What would you call it? It would be difficult to go with Digital Cash Loans but it would be really easy to do Dash Loans.

Yeh I agree there are the seperate services to think about.  I meant 'digital cash' is just a good way to explain it to people when they ask what Dash is Smiley

true

they don't know what Bitcoin is either...and I think main reason is because why would I wait 15 minutes to pay when I can just use cash or credit card.  2014 Bitcoin adoption should have taken off but it didn't.  and good job because it can only do 7 transactions per second globally.

Dash solves this! Cheesy

(EDIT: sorry I know Dash isn't final, just trying it out...)

Take instant out just leave private digital cash starting from lower left D to lower right H - my 2 duffs

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash."  -  Child Harold - February 28, 2014
