Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Ever since BitcoinWisdom delisted Cryptsy DRK (Dash), we fell way down in the alt list with hardly any volume. I'm so used to looking near the top, now I have to find it somewhere in the middle! So frustrating...

What is the story behind the delisting btw?

Yes please do tell.
Still have bitfinex for DRK/dash but not for cryptsy, even though cryptsy still there for other coins???

I feel like posting up a meme with a t-rex talking about volume and threats to bitcoin, but.......  not today.

MasterCard 'Send' ( Roll Eyes) is more secure

http://cointelegraph.com/news/114302/mastercard-announces-centralized-p2p-payments

So Credit Cards and the existing financial system are actually less secure than digital cash.

It's a bit late to own up, but better late than never.

Doesn't solve the scalability problem, but merely postpones it, and does not take into account slow connection speeds and magnetic hard drives for it's weighty 35 gigabytes of blockchain and soon to be larger block sizes!
Does not allow for accelerating user take up(only a linear rise of new transactions is possible and even that does not follow Moore's law)

Dash has at least 2 possible solutions.

a) reduce the path length by scrubbing spent transactions making the block size smaller.
b) use the masternodes to make transactions per seconds infinitely scalable.

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

I doubt Bitcoinwisdom "Delisted" DRK/Dash; he just hasn't fixed it so he removed it. He hasn't been responsive on Bitcointalk or Twitter in months so I hope he's OK and reacts. As I mentioned in an earlier post it works fine of off North American Servers.

I just did an experiment and Logged in to London and it worked well. When I connected to Hong Kong I get the non-working chart.

I'll do my part and retweet. Thanks!

I think this really emphasizes the importance of getting it right from the beginning.  Once you grow to a certain extent, you are no longer nimble.  It would have helped a lot if Nakamoto were still around.  Leadership is important if you want a huge network to move.  It is actually a blessing that we are still extremely small compared to Bitcoin.  Still, we're growing fast, and that means we must get our foundation finished as soon as possible.  I think the core team understand that, and that they're doing a great job to that extent.

 Bitcoinwisdom still has Poloniex flatlined DRK/BTC chart, that I can't in the world find an alternative to update www.helpwithcoins.org

 Cryptsy works for me, but on the time-update it flops out. If I refresh the page it shows ok... well, kinda... it's weird.

 Anyway, any help to find good links to update helpwithcoins would be great.

Tip:-
To display cryptsy charts on bitcoinwisdom, use opera browser and the add on 'browsec' and set location to North America.
https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/browsec/?display=en
Now you can view cryptsy macd charts in all their glory.

I meant bitcoin, but I suppose until the team implements the changes necessary this would apply to both, albeit with a much smaller initial block size for Dash allowing for more time.

Btw, I went through a few country's localbitcoins.com volume, and it appears South Africa has one of the fastest rising turnovers in the last 2 months.

Was your dash-wallet switched off when you "i moved the wallet.dat file to the new dash wallet?

Right way is:
1. stop wallet
2. move in backup wallet.dat
3. start wallet
