Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Seriously though, is this exchange under new management or has it always been blatant in its pump of the month coin pick? Stuff like this makes me nervous to trade there, could be ominous first signs .. |

Poloniex is one of the best exchanges out there, darkcoin propaganda machine is on a smear campaign against Poloniex..why? because it has a XMR market and the biggest XMR exchange, by damaging the exchange they damage XMR too... |
