Holy shit...I just setup my first masternode using Tao's guide.
One week ago I had about 2 BTC to play with. Today I have a Dash masternode thanks to a certain coin's 1000% rally this week (and some luck/skill with selling right at the top - myfarm can vouch for that because I urged him to do the same ) .

This has been my goal for months now and I'm finally ready to be all-in with Evan and dev team and Dash.
I've left myself a small bit of coinage to trade around with (in hope of someday trading up to perhaps a second masternode)...we'll see on that.

I have got my raspberry pi already, so I have two weeks to figure everything out and get things up and running. I want to thank you for your help with my first shares. I remember very well thinking I would never get to the point I am at now. I never realized back then that you did not have your own masternodes. I am happy to hear you are about to arive as well!

Let's hear it for the little big guys. We may not be whales by some standards, but with less than 2,500 masternodes, we are the world's elite.

Splawik, I just sent you a pm. I want everyone to know what an incredable help both you and Mangled Blue have been to me. You exemplify the kind of good natured support that puts this community head and shoulders above anything else I have seen on BCT. I feel so sorry for the bitter trolls and victims of scams who have no sense of the joy that comes from helping others and being helped in a community striving for a better world. Not that any of us are perfect... just that we really do want to be moving in that direction.

dash , dev bought sdc ages ago...he wanted to split the coin into 2 coins....but when people found out the chat logs on irc, drk holders went mental , but the move was done behind thier backs...then evan decides to kill drk so it benifits sdc...and dash can be instanttx coin with new pump...for months , ever since evan said they were going to buy sdc, they coins have alternating pumps, one goes up, other goes down....check charts

This is the kind of shit people spread around.  Such hate.  I don't understand any of it.  Life is too fucking short to be worried about shit that doesn't affect you.

donations are not supported in dash.conf
you need to create masternode.conf file and use "start-many" or "start-alias" commands, see https://github.com/dashpay/dash/blob/master/doc/masternode_conf.md

Can somebody direct me to a guide on how to donate your mn payments? I know it has something to do with masternode.conf

to the end of your masternode.conf line (right after the input index integer) add:  destinationaddress:percentage

e.g. <alias> <mnaddr> <mnprivkey> <txid> <vout> Xblahblahblahblah:10
to send, on average, one out of every 10 masternode block reward payments to Xblahblahblahblah

note: block reward payments are not split into two outputs.
payments are redirected to the donation address on a schedule defined by the percentage /on average/

 Apparently, Gridseed has merged with someone, and announced that they'd come out with a brand new dual algo SHA/Scrypt miner this month. I wonder how many LTC miners will go for another round of failed ROI.

 I contacted a few pools, but could not get a definite answer, does anyone have a clue how to set up the math to calculate SHA/scrypt multipool payout in X11/DASH profitability, excluding diff variance?

 I will be having free electrics soon. Wouldn't mind reviving the hobby...

 I don't think so, but knock on wood... It was Saturday last night, so kids can stay up playing Xbox a little longer. Its the big weekly online meet-up.
 I'm sure they'll resume their mindless bashing when they wake up and finish their chores.
