Awesome, I hope the poor boy will be able to come home soon.  Even if 99.9% of Americans are too stupid to understand what he did for us, what it took, the bravery, the sacrifice, I hope he knows the rest of us do understand and are in awe of his strength!

I would not say 99.9% of all Americans are "too stupid..." but one must admit, no matter the percentage, the "average" American has zero chance of getting anything. PoW is a crap, everyone except the 421 miners left on Earth knows this. The suits certainly know this. It's exclusionary, non-scalable, mindbogglingly inefficient, and too damn slow. Bankers are going to adopt blockchain tech where it suits them, but they certainly aren't going to be pissing about with warehouses full of hardware wasting gigawatts of electricity on make-work.

If Evan applied the same PoService principles to blockchain security and coin minting that Masternodes employ, DASH would be almost perfectly decentralised and literally unbreakable while a functioning internet existed, and have vastly greater tx throughput by virtue of latency savings alone.
