Nice that we have another exchange, although your mascot is pretty cool so how can your site look so amateurish? I'll wait for the first hack or two before putting any money on there. (e.g. : C-CEX , POLONIEX ) Its not amateurish, its just simple. I think that its a cliche that website has to shine like a diamond or be super duper glamorous. By the way its very fast & safe, you can try to trade small at first The fact the Darkcoin community wishes to not be assosiated with "moon" mumbo jumbo doesn't appeal to me for an exchange. Going to the moon is another way of saying "We will dump on you hard."

Remember that Bitcoin is still beta software. Don't put all of your money into BTC!

Even if it works safely for a month or more, someone may know an exploit due to poor programming and wait for the time to attack when the exchange gains a bit of credibility.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5424980#msg5424980

Official pool : http://pool.darkcoin.io/I switched to suchpool, because it seemed far enough away from 50%. darkcoin.io was taken down w/ a lot of hashes. This put the diff down below 200. Now people are changing and coming back online, and probably will be doing so for at least a few more hours.

I love how useless the BTC38 votes are. Riecoin - Ok , YBC and Billiocoin? Not ok. YBC was added simply because it's a chinese coin.

Small thing that has been on my mind a lot about DarkCoin. On the main page it says 84 Million coins. It makes it sound like a lot, but from the block size and bunch of other factors, didn't someone say we would only get to 10 million? Or 10 million in x amount of years. My thinking: If someone comes to read the specs, and see that 84 million DarkCoins will be around in the future, it gives the impression that this coin is less scarce that it really is. Wouldn't be be better to give a rough outline of the predicted amount of coins that will be in circulation per year?.......to show people really how scarce this coin is? (and will continue to be, it's bloody hard to mine) I'm sure this will help the value of the coin. What are your thoughts fellow DarkCoin miners / owners / investors?

well its your opinion and i'm not going to discuss about that, but i think that you shouldn't judge only because its called coins2themoon, it was a slogan of every coins launched earlier like btc, doge & others... "lets take coins to the moon"

Hardest working coin Dev goes to! ... awesome work ! Reading the doc's, you mention how there aren't many beta notes running. Would it help if I and others downloaded the beta client? Or doesn't that help much as we're not a listed node?. Just wondering if we can help

It will be 84mn but over a very long period of time... Exactly. VERY long time. But unless people take time to understand how the block reward changes due to hash power, these coins are being mined WAY slower than one would first think. Because the reward size is now just 23 coins or so, less if more has power, maybe just 21 coins (far from the 250-500 per block at the start). I just want to highlight JUST how long it will take to get to this 84 million coins. At first glance people won't know just how long it will take unless we point it out to them. My thoughts anyhow.
