Make sure you have the private key backed up elsewhere. Data integrity tends to be somewhat less than desired on raspberry pies.

The whole system uses a micro sd card as a hard drive. So you could set up wallet and encrypt it, then clone the sd card. If you ever lost keys you could just pop in the cloned sd card and let wallet sync.. right?

Another nice option for a cold wallet is an encrypted Linux distribution installed on a USB drive. There are a few waterproof and shockproof USB 3.0 flash drives available which should last a while and give decent performance (depending on the host machine).

Since masternodes are unique to drk, i was thinking, is yhere a way to make masternodes help decrease transaction time from 2.5 minutes to instant? Im not technically capable of determining if this is possible myself. Is there a way, some kind of genius thing that hasnt been thought of before? If drk has instant transactions it will be bigger than bitcoin.

The Darksend conceptual wrapper will always suffer from idiots who rely on word association to inform them. Darksend will, therefore, always be lowered to CoinJoin, a concept which doesn't work.

Think 5 year old mentality and word association:

* Send

* Join

We have the capability to understand Darksend as a conceptual wrapper for the entire process, and something that Bitcoin doesn't have.

It is evident from what I have already seen that others don't and won't bother to do the work to read and understand it. They will therefore associate send with sending; mixing with CoinJoin and therefore the gmaxwell proposal which, again, doesn't work.

Cryptonote uses coin mixing as part of its process. Do you think CoinJoin when thinking about Crytonote's like Monero, Bytecoin, Boolberry? The cryptonote mixing part of the process is probably closer to CoinJoin than Darksend.

This needs fixing before it becomes ingrained in the minds of all the idiots out there.
