Here's an attempt by me, inspired by Mangled Blue's Masternode logo. I'm sure it's possible to find a more harmonious combination of colours and layering but I'm off to bed. I'm happy to share the SVG file if anyone wants to keep going with it.

lol, I dont think he means masternodes...

When a coin is new and in its nascent phase it needs nodes (basically wallets/daemons with static ip) so that wallets can sync to the blockchain in the first place.

Maybe this guy just read the first page of this thread and his wallet isn't synching because of a restrictive firewall.  Grin LMAO

If he only knew, man... if he only knew how far we have come...

Yes... more than one actually.

To actually try and be helpful, you should sync up really fast without any trouble.  Perhaps you have a firewall?  Or let us know what's happening, and someone (should) help?

I don't know... maybe Evan should stop being innovative and productive.  Geepers, after RC5, then open source, THEN instant transactions, THEN god knows what..... DRK will dip so low on the charts it'll have no value at all!

And I have finally, FINALLY switched my antminer to Xpool, LOL.  Made it over the payoff hump.  I'm sure everyone will be thankful of my immense 2 gh of sha-256 awesomeness....  Grin

Interesting, question though. Your name is cloud hosting - yet what you described is shared hosting, not cloud at all. If you accept darkcoin I would be very interested in moving at least a couple of my servers to you - so could you provide a little bit more detail on what you offer? Is it shared hosting or do you plan on offering VPSs as well?

Down the line we will be offering VPSs but we are currently rebuilding this side of the business (hiring staff, redesigning our server rooms, creating new partnerships). For now we are offering website hosting via a cloud control panel interface on shared hosting.
What does "cloud control panel" mean? In hosting cloud hosting is a very specific term - for example AWS is a cloud host.

Cloud control panel is the term we use for our website hosting side of the business, we currently have 5 independent reviewers looking over the system giving us feedback which we are using to improve our system

Is there a fully managed option? Root access, blah blah?
Shared hosting would imply yes to the first (managed) and no to the second (root).

[/quote]

Our VPS business is under heavy development we will be providing a range of options on launch, we will be providing  shared and dedicated hosting options. Root access will be an option disabled by default but enabled at customer request.

Quote
What is the cost of a server?
As the VPS business is still underdevelopment this has not been decided yet but for our current servers for website hosting the price is displayed on our ordering module on our order hosting page
Quote
What does the above server have in resources?
We will be offering a wide range of options on resources but again if you look on our order page for our website options you can see different options there.
Quote
What is your uptime?
Our current servers have been 99.98% over the last 4 months (Since launch)
Quote
How long have you been in the hosting business?
CCH is only very young (Around 2 months old), our server hardware is around 4 months old but I have provided IT hosting for many UK companies for around 5 years now.
Quote
We are still working on the best way to display our server status, this will be updated in due course

Edit Edit: http://cp.cryptocloudhosting.org/members/ Your client login page is insecure.
This is the link on the site but for new and current customers they get a different link to the control panel which is https:\\

sigh...

Cheesy Grin

So - I don't get it

You counter me with stupid GIF?/?Huh

Aren't you just pissy because I asked you to not display titty pix here where children can view them while parents read the DRK thread?

Is that not what the issue really is about Huh

Ah NOW I remember you. You are THAT guy.

You can bet that I will make this into a regular GIF series now: The Darkcoin Monster!

Thanks for giving me this idea in the first place!  Grin

Much better than titty pix anyway.
