Everybody please update to 10.14.1 especially you MN owners.

Do it!  Over 50% of the masternode network is vulnerable to the exploit!

UPDATE YOUR MASTERNODES AND STOP PISSING ABOUT MAKING UP NAMES!

Well, it is not reasonable to expect 100% compliance this soon after the exploit. I bet you it will take a couple of days before we get close to 99%.

Looks like we have majority hardcore investors in the Darkcoin community. We get attacked, some pussies panic and sell but almost everyone holds their grounds and trusts the Dev team and understand that these attacks are expected and only makes the coin stronger Cool

about 8 hours to code and deploy the exploit.

Forget that exploid, I'm interested in how you managed to setup a ton of Masternodes in that time.

Or did you already have a botnet and therefore lots of IP addresses?

Is this one of attacker's MNs? Or legitimate MNs can also say "unknown protocol"?

Is it ok now to send funds with "No Preference" selected rather than "Use Anonymous Funds" or "Use Non-Anonymous Funds"? In the past I read that it might cause problems.

Managed to get my DRKs from Mintgox

Also, i wonder how many masternode owners are currently in the world, because i'm assuming that many of them own more than 1-2. Regarding my situation, I am really trying to get one before the end of the year and living in a shithole country surely doesn't help. I'm just scared to not be left behind hehe

The absolute worst people in history, ranked by the wisdom of the crowd: "Vlad the Impaler", "Mihnea the Evil", "Ivan the Terrible" and "Evan the Instaminer".

Thanks I'm only on my phone and I don't have my .conf file with me . I could copy /paste my .conf file from my masternode machine. Might be a bit awkward with phone. Might go buy a laptop .  think I should stop it for now

It was a long night!

Still. The guy came here and explained approximately what he had done and that he was going to donate the DRKs to some open source project. props for that.

The MNs payments being made to him are his bounty for bug finding.

There's a guide on the darkcointalk forum wich can be found here;
https://darkcointalk.org/threads/masternode-setup-guide-using-os-x-local-linux-remote.1776/#post-11928

Yidakee also offers a Masternode setup-service for a small fee; https://darkcointalk.org/threads/yidakees-helpdesk-masternode-setup-services-ghostplayer-on-bitcointalk.1633/
