Yeah, so much going around stores for a revenue of 500 EUR doesn't make any sense. Still, I'm sure media will say this is super serious and all bitcoiners are bad people (they don't know about DRK yet, we shall be worse!)

*********** Amber Alert ************
I've come to the conclusion that the world economy actually exists to support the banking system ... Basically we're f*ckd. ... They never solved the 2008 financial crisis ... I'm sorry, Darkcoin's competitors are screwed ... they've got too little too late plus they've picked the wrong design ... Darkcoin is IT or nothing.
Some excellent analysis there... We just need the world banking system to hold on for another year or two, I think we are 12 months away from having the right fundamentals in place for Crypto to start replace existing debt based ecosystems... Agreed, although I would have gone with, "The people who know how bad it really is have all either killed themselves, been killed to stop them telling anyone else, or are buying DRK and ammo," instead of "Amber Alert."

Looking forward to it... It's like the entity behind this Moolah twitter account is the same who posted on Mt.Gox when they started to deal with malleability issues but also picked up some experience in the shit/scam-coin "developer" front in the mean time. (I am not suggesting anything because I would run out of money long before them. )

Seems like DRK guys are trying to increase number of MN , prices are dropping on MP , if the price halves for a short period the number of MN will significantly increase which improves stability of DRK

How did he nailed it? There is not even a whitepaper draft? 1 : 1 clone i bet. The specifications are literally made for pump and dump. It's called sarcasm my friend, of course there's no white paper because it's still on the roll hanging by the toilet.

Lucky bastard That's either a very irrational individual dumping for no reason, or, somebody knows something about mintpal that no one else does... That's like a 'get out what you can' type dump... I'm so glad I got my dark out of MP yesterday, hopefully all is ok but when people do shit like dumping 1000's DRK's at 75% off market price then something's not right... Let's hope they're just mad

Let's hope they're just mad It's hard to really say because they are doing free trading till year end and incentivizing people to trade to themselves to reach the 100btc in volume to get a free 1.5btc. Anyone still using Mintpal is asking for trouble. This is assuming new money coming in. I feel for those with coins locked up.

sooo luckily i moved most of my funds from the old wallet, but i forgot to update a mining address.... so i have some coins in my old wallet (which is encrypted).
If i switch out the new wallet.dat with the old wallet.dat everything works great until i attempt to send coins. Here the client freezes.
I can't dump private key - i get error
I am using the Mac qt v0.10.13.15-beta
any idea how to rescue these coins?
What error are you getting when dumping the private key for the addresses? Is the wallet unlocked? error is (code -4) Maybe that was due to a locked wallet. Now when I am trying again making sure to unlock first. I get rainbow wheel of death. (Same crash that happens when I try to send). Maybe I'll try on windows. EDIT: oh snap ! client came back to life all is well in DrkLand.. Might I suggest that the loading logo/page (which looks great by the way) should not be always on top? this is rather annoying (I cant multitask)!

I think it is a form of sending coins from one account to another. Or it is way to manipulate real prices on Cryptsy by fake sells on Mintpal. Or just a kind of having fun.

I'm still unable to access my Mintpal account. I've sent in a ticket over 24 hours ago asking them to disable the broken two factor but haven't received a response as of yet.
Just sent them another email. I really feel like I'm about to be Goxxed.
Funny thing is, if you reset your password, it lets you temporarily bypass the two factor authentication accessing your account but you are still unable to turn it off.
As of now, I have my funds being held in their exchange with no means of withdrawing them. I should of taken everything off that exchange when I had the chance...
