I'm not on Facebook or Twitter.

So, I uttered the very same sentence in front of my friend's 7 y.o. son, telling him to send me an e-mail instead. And the kid says: "Email? You're so retarded!"

About 2 months ago I predicted November 2014 will be when DRK overtakes LTC. I was way off, but I think it's still going to happen in the next month / year..

I said that back right before RC3 and RC4. Would not have been far off if we hadn't forked and price plummeted. Darksend is a niche product, despite the ginourmous market cap it touches. But yeah, not everyone will rush and jump straight in until it is absolutely solid.

InstantX on the other hand... if we get this baby out in the open working fine, we could still see it happen before new year's eve  Cool

(happy thoughts, wishful thinking, fingers crossed)

I agree, I think InstantX is potentially a bigger sell than anon, but wider adoption via use of IX will hopefully get more people trying DS too.  Smiley

How long does an instatX transaction take to be broadcasted on average?

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

It is so hard to buy a node nowadays. Nobody wants to sell at 0.006xx anymore. I think we're into 7xx tonight.

How long does an instatX transaction take to be broadcasted on average?

Well technically it's broadcast immediately, like any other tx, but on testnet it was taking 15-20 secs for the consensus lock and full confirmation on the receive end.

The worse I got was like 40 seconds... But let it be perfectly clear. On mainnet it could be little longer. I think Evan mentioned this in the demo video, right?

I don't think that's an appropriate measure when it wasn't consistent by any means.

I didn't have any problems buying 1000DRK yesterday but you're right, things looking a lot cooler today.

We're talking testnet, so I am obviously referring to successful attempts. Bugs still need to be ironed out.
