No problem. I'm excited about the next release and i'm glad to say i've never had a forced liquidation as I always watch my positions and the market trend like a hawk.
I had a forced liquidation early in the life of this website, but it was my own fault.. I tried to purchase on margin and withdraw some ammount then open a second account to try and 'double' my btcs.... needless to say it did not work ..

Hey, I called foul when it was my own ignorance in basic Forex trading. Silly me. Still, good learning experience, and Z is a patient man, which I appreciate.

3.54031 / 3.65211. Spread is to big for 5 decimals. 3.54 / 3.65 will be better solution.

True. But we are all waiting for the spread to narrow to less than 10 pips. :-D

Why am I not surprised that Bitcoinica has "withdrawal problems"?

Why are you not surprised?
If I have understood it correctly they are waiting for a new Yubikey from Mt.gox.

Hi, It seems that Mt. Gox has forgotten to send the Yubikey to us. I have already requested an account merge so that we can make use of the Yubikey of the other account. Now they are "discussing about the possibilities". We will support instant Liberty Reserve withdrawals soon. I know this is annoying, and I really apologize for that.

Revolutionary." "You can instantly deposit or withdraw using Mt. Gox redeemable codes or Bitcoins. International Wire Transfer is also supported." - Bitcoinica web site. None of these outfits are professional enough to have the relationships with their counterparty institutions nailed down contractually.

please make it possible to convert usd to btc and to withdraw them to a wallet. i think your mtgox withdraw-waiting time is inacceptable.
(i know you have a problem with your yubikey, but please understand that this is your problem - not mine).

This. And I withdrew some btc a few hours ago. Worked like a charm, coins were sent instant.

Guys, someone please help a forex noob:
When my account only contains btc and no usd, and I go long, am I correct in that enforced liquidation would occur at the point when the net value hits zero? What does maintenance tell me and how is it calculated?
