Lolcust,

Though I hate your blockchain because it moves too fast for my hardware, I gotta say I'm impressed.  You set up a live chain to be tested on, tests have gone on, it's proving itself right away.

I'm so surprised this wasn't done earlier.

Good job.

Geist reset, with all updates, new awesome NTP by ArtForz and a milder diff adjust

With "crutches" pseudo-gui    http://www.mediafire.com/?g8i4lx4qjf6phie

Raw files http://www.mediafire.com/?2ymc9tito0mbj2l

Getting an IRC recv failed:10060 error, doesn't work.

Still getting this error.

Downloaded the GeistGeld_new, changed user/pass for miner and can't connect to IRC channel (it seems?).

Try turning on DNS in the config.

Meanwhile, you can do addnode=<IP>:7769 with the following IPs if else fails:
173.238.168.52
205.185.188.37
90.176.64.166

I'm testing it once again "out of the box" on a vm through TOR right now

EDIT:
basically, the IRC server ain't not talking to you it seems.

That's odd.

Try turning on DNS and add a bunch of IPs above (with port, just to be sure)

MaGNeT, I've just connected through TOR from a VM, "out-of-the-zip" except for proxy. It worked. I think the local IRC server of lfnet that you get directed to is not behaving well.

Try going through addnode route and enable DNS.

Also, try disabling UNPNP (noupnp=1 in the config) as it tends to upset some routers (I know all "coins" with UNPNP fucked with a Dlink router I had to use yesterday big time)

Adding the nodes seemed to fix it, now downloading the blocks  Grin

Okay, I am starting to send out them pre-mined coins divided by applicants, no need to give further addresses lol Smiley

@heinz
Hm, you probably should have more accepted, how many coins you get per minute, approximately ?

Also...before my remote mining rig got taken down during first launch, I was getting very "questionable" results on cgminer solo. Much better at poclbm (GUIminer included in bundle specifically)

heinz, try poclbm.

they do IT IS CALLED TESTNETS. and it is done this way to not damage the coin itself. I'm not sure I want anything to do with a coin that is so accepting to the childish hackers(NOTE I DID NOT CALL THEM SECURITY PROFESSIONALS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT) and actually not only seeks their help but praises them, giving them more confidence and reasons to attack the major networks here that have shit to do with geist gelds.

I have no faith in this, and you think doubleC will put up a exchange after bitcoin express is going arround saying he is going to bring down namecoin?

You reap what you sow and right now yall are sowing shit.

Either my copypaste skills have deteriorated due to all the copypasting of code, or your address isn't right (CosicMiner's address got accepted oky so it is unlikely to be a Geist issue)

I'm out, sorry but no blocks appear on the balance someone is betting on a majority of hashing power while refusing others to connect it seems. Or whatever it is, good luck with it.
