Spirow, with "getaccountaddress <username_in_the_.conf_file" in the control tab.

And one from me, I'm trying to send some GGs to the exchange, but I get the "type mismatch" error.
I write : sendtoaddress <address> <ammount> in the Send_GG tab, right ?
edit: got it. No need for "sendtoaddress" command...  Roll Eyes

The whole point of SEND tab is to remove the need to type "sendtoaddress"

That's why it says "Please input destination address AND ammount" when you use it.

Yeah, silly me.
Something else happened, my attempt to send last of my coins finished with crash to the GG client ( 15 minutes ago ). My coins are gone, but they're not in the exchange account yet . Hope they'll come eventually...

Hm.

Check them up with GG blockexplorer.

If they don't show up in blockexplorer, then all you need is to do a -rescan because the blockchain didn't "get" you.

Just checked the Block Explorer - didn't found it.
So I type -rescan in the control tab ?

Hm, no

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Running_Bitcoin

shut down GG, add a line saying
Code:
rescan=1
into the config, and start back up.

Hopefully, your coins will get found in the BC

I did it exactly the same way, it worked. I'm little ... overexcited right now ( may be from the half litre of coffee, until noon ).

Glad yo found your Geists. Don't forget to remove the rescan thingie now that they are found, rescanning tends to hit performance a lot.

y ppl no read 1st posts ?   Cheesy

Perhaps because people don't find them?  Where is it?   Smiley  Or maybe they find them and read them but they think they're a joke (that's what I thought for some time about GEG myself, after reading the first post).

Sorry about the outage. I was hosting GG on my old pool server for testing. It had a nasty habit of random hardware resets every week or so.

I just moved GG to the new pool server. It's been up for 20 days, which is about as long as it's been in service. It should have been down less than a minute or so (forgot to change the sql user ip for the gg pool).

lol.

Well, I'm running GG with long-polling in the client. Once the RPC is sped up it should be less. Stales are still a bit high for my taste...

GG you run includes full Joel suite, so it should include all the things that are there.

However, I do have a lingering suspicion that some more corners can be cut to get stales lower. Anyways, for 15s blocks, not bad, IMHO.

Oh, well, then I guess it isn't RPC  Lips sealed

Anyways, I also have a lingering suspicion it can be better somehow. That said, with 15s blocks it's close to solo.
