I already tried the easy-mining.net pool... same story man.... but i do actually get paid a bit more  Cool

I tried solo without longpoll... and with longpoll (minebig)... but it didnt work for me... hope to hear youre result!

if you earn more with solo... when net hash is @ 300mhs its pretty weird i think...

Just tossing in a marker, it's 7AM EST here, swapped over to solo @ 2.8MHs (I think I got it set up correct anyway)

I'll let it run for the day and see what happens.

hope luck is on your side!

i got the same thing now @ easy-miners.net... found 443 coins in few days... got payed 199...  Undecided

Its not a really big issue though... its not like im getting nothing... day estimate in pool is almost 100% accurate here...

but still.... i think its strange... its a difference of 50%

It's weird, until you posted this, I've never questioned it.  Then again, I've only been mining since late November and I'm still learning a lot.  I'm a hardware guy so setting up rigs and networking is no big deal to me, but doing things like config files and such is not my forte.  Biggest thing I'm wondering is, is this thing actually looking for blocks?  My wallet is on one computer, and the rig I switched is a different one.  Something must be working cause the Matrix lights went from blue to red (shows load on the cards) and bfg says it's hashing...  This would be my first solo since I always run on pools.

well i dont know about that man... IF im mining solo i always do it on the computer the wallet is at...  in your case i dont think youre actually mining right now ( i mean, youre mining... but in open air i think Tongue ) or else you created some kind of minipool for your own... (somebody correct me if i'm wrong)

normally... you put in the Cash.conf in appdata folder, add username/pass/ports etc. And then you can login with cgminer with that username and pass etc.

i'm not at home now so i cant paste my cgminer solo .bat file.. ill do it when i get home! so you got something to compare with Wink

I really, really hope what I'm seeing is for real.  BTC standing by for a purchase if it is....

This page may just be a standby for when Cryptsy supports Fiat !!

Dude, ya just killed my dreams....  But I would think it would show USD instead of CASH?  Common, work with me here...

@ barryzand:
I'm giving it a go for the fun of it, and I'm not sure if it's actually doing anything.  Is there a specific port I should use or can I just put any port for CASH?  I've forwarded it in my router and added it to both my conf file and the .bat file for the miner.   BFG shows things like "found block for pool" and such, but 3 hours later, I got nothing.

When all else fails, trust in CASH!

the first POS should be around 40% according to some, so hold it don't give it away for nothing. You will get 40-50% more when the first POS staking kicks in.

11:30, stopped Solo due to massive up tick in net hash rate.  Like a rain drop vs the ocean at this point.

I'm now convinced that all this POS thing, well, i don't really get it...
To me, it's like a reward for holding coins in your wallet, but this reward is generated by who?

By the amount of coins you are holding in your wallet...

I thought DEV said first few POS will be around 10%, then go down in steps to ~1%, never falling below 1%.  Either way, yes it's a reward for holding coins long term, and the more you hold the more you can make on that return.

That said, I hope that this hits cryptsy soon and lots of people decide NOT to hold...   Grin

Might I enquire as to whether an 'official' decision's been made as to the name of the coin?

Seems to be referred to as

CryptoCash
CashCoin
CryptoCashCoin

Personally prefer CashCoin, but just wanna know what I should be telling people to search for (remembering cash-coin.org is too hard for the general populace).

EDIT:
I have since changed my mind and prefer CrytpoCASH over CASHCoin due to potential confusion and difficulty Googling.

Why not just simple good ol' CASH?  Everyone thinks of cash as money, easier to understand than the rest of the crypto's out there so far.

Because it's not the only cash, there's also all the fiat cash. Need to differentiate this superior, digital age cash from that annoyingly heavy (after a night on the town) and easy to lose old cash crap.

The 'coin' bit in the name is currently known 'reasonably' well to be for crypto coins.

Remember, the short, trade name is still CASH, just it's long name I'm wondering about.
