Really Bro it is good advice!!! I am sure I will definitely try this suggestion. But for safe side i will use different password.
there are a lot of security facilities. you can still try DNS services. anti-viruses also solve the problem of hacking. I do save all passwords on flash drive to the computer nothing happened

I think we are exposed, even taking all precautions, because the internet is still indomitable and anything that comes up in the protocols can offer risks

Such a complex process explained in such a simple manner. I was with one of Tech Teams as they evaluated certain new structural changes the other day. The logical tree got implemented operating upon the tenets mentioned by you while testing and it opened up each gap. Of course, it is not as simple as it sounds here. Nevertheless, the basics never change.

For the most part, on the off chance that you have a lot of bitcoins on a given PC, being additional careful about outsider programming (be it an Alt-coin customer or an especially favor easygoing diversion) is fitting.

This is valid, a great deal of square chains have really risen in the web. As dependably individuals never show signs of change, in spite of the simplicity of winning cash through digital forms of money, despite everything they need a simple and illicit approach to procure. That is the reason we should be more careful on the square binds that we need to utilize when we are managing our coins.

it's better to set up an alternative network and chain which share the same miners, ideas and reasoning in a large platform, when it comes to Bitcoin

I will dependably think why that the bitcoin exchanges can't be as quick as VISA and for what reason does it too long like over 5 minutes. At that point I understand that security is more imperative than speed. We can be quick yet it can't decentralized or we require another outsider substance to provide food that administrations however the peril of security is a hazard. This resembles the instance of Equifax's information break where they handle outsider administration for VISA transactions. If Lightning Network proposition is actualized, the respectability of information security is very dubious.

I totally agree with your post.  Who wants to take costly risks that might
cause great harm to their computer security or even losing hard earned cash? One just has to be cautious in trying new blockchains especially during this scam-prone times we are in.

Gave you have a lot of solid points and its true we all have to be very cautious with our transactions, avoid clicking on unverified links as this is very common with phishing, do not disclose or publicly paste your private keys on public forums and no matter what try to keep a hard copy of your wallet details asides stroing them electronically on your device.

I haven't seen anybody post about what would be my biggest worry if I were trying out alternative block chains. I realize this may be perceived as "Gavin is FUD'ding anything that isn't bitcoin!"  (FUD == Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt)  But I think some of you might be forgetting some basic computer security fundamentals in the excitement to be early adopters.

When I first heard about bitcoin, my questions were:

1) Can it possibly work (do the ideas for how it works make sense)?
2) Is it a scam?
3) If it is not a scam, could it open my computer up to viruses/trojans if I run it?

I answered those questions by:

1) Reading and understanding Satoshi's whitepaper.  Then thinking about it for a day or two and reading it again.
2) Finding out everything I could about the project.  I read every forum thread here (there were probably under a hundred threads back then) and read Satoshi's initial postings on the crypto mailing list.
3) Downloaded and skimmed the source code to see if it looked vulnerable to buffer overflow or other remotely exploitable attacks.

If I were going to experiment with an alternative block-chain, I'd go through the same process again. But I'm an old conservative fuddy-duddy.

If you want to take a risk on a brand-new alternative block-chain, I'd strongly suggest that you:

1) Run the software in a virtual machine or on a machine that doesn't contain anything valuable.
2) Don't invest more money or time than you can afford to lose.
3) Use a different passphrase at every exchange site.

I agree with what you have said. like other things that has to do with business , alternative blockchain also need some risk analysis.

I've run into a few of the scams so far.  I'm new to this and I've found two, so far, that have paid out with no issues
