Interesting times at the moment, do you agree? Lot of bad words of nem regarding
the time what you have spend with the project. Some persons can see what it means.
Quick release means bad result. Those who are patient enough are clearly the winners,
just wait and see Grin

Developers have a large friendly team. Do not hurry, do everything correctly and carefully and precaution.
Then got lucky coin - NEMcoin.
Stakeholders must be patient and wait. This will benefit all of us

Im sure this has been mentioned already, but with current price that Nem stakes are making on the AE, How safe is a bitcointalk account being the only way to prove you own a stake. Would it be wiser now to insist that everyone takes the tokens or come up with another way to secure your stake. Wasnt bitcointalk hacked last year ?
Personally I would prefer another way as the dumpers are being weeded out slowly atmo on the AE

It would be relatively easy to achieve some sort of 2FA. Most people paid for their stake. If NEM account policy were to include a signed transaction from the payment address for any changes it would be sort of safe.

cant insist on people claiming stakes.. its purely by choice! but it is far safer to get your stake on AE even if your not going to be trading it! much much safer!
You can show proof by doing a second payment to NEM from the address the stake was claimed from.
Easy as that.

Don't try and oversell the AE.

What's the price of 1 stake now?  I refuse to support NXT by getting my NEM tokenized.

IMO guy who knows exactly what is behind that price increase would be hard to find...

There could be numerous option. Price increase can be driven by information, herding, etc. It could be these annoucements but cannot say for sure.

There may be a factor: A Chinese cryptocurrency exchange (http://www.btc38.com/trade.html?btc38_trade_coin_name=nxt) opened NXT's trade soon
A few months ago, Dogecoin  same.

Each time Bitcoin and most alts stagnate - there's a 'pump of the month' and this time it appears to be NxT.

Its not easy to pump NXT, too many bag holders who can dump on you. it seems like a natural growth but i can be wrong.

I was getting to that.  NxT had a scammy IPO where only 20 invested the full amount.  Obscure IPOs have more sockpuppets and BCnext didn't taint analysis - so maybe 5 people (w/ sockpuppets) control almost all the NxT.

When you have whales sitting on 100+ million NxT each, they dump to get $Fiat.
