In the meantime, they still have about 20% of the NET Hashrate. I hope it won't be all lost

Yet another reason to spread the hashrate around.  I've said it about 50 times in this thread.  Don't jump onto the biggest pool just because it's the biggest.  I run one of the largest Tagcoin pools, and I actually make more coin per day as a miner on a smaller pool than on a top hash rate pool.  Test for yourself, but you will typically earn at least 10% more per day on a sub 50-100MH pool.  I don't know if there is a science behind it or just plain voodoo, but it seems to be the case with any coin I've tried it with.  I've got people begging me for private pools all the time because of it.

Spread the hash rate around to smaller pools and keep the network healthy.

Pools under attack again. There's no rest for the wicked...  Angry

Scryptminers is working now but there's no block confirmation.  Huh
Same for me here. I have 500 POTS waiting for block confirmation.

I switched to another pool in the meantime.
Is there a chance all these blocks will be cancelled?

my guess is that they just have a cron job that stopped running and they need to turn it back on

It would be wonderful to know where the fuck is the admin.

Exactly!
I understand they have an issue. That's bad but not giving any info for hours is worse. It tells me not to come back to this pool whenever their problems are resolved.
I tried the IRC channel as well and there's no admin there. just users with the same concerns.
Maybe they ran away with our stash.
In the meantime, they still have about 20% of the NET Hashrate. I hope it won't be all lost

Just got an update from the Scryptominers admin on the Chat box. They are working on the confirmation problem. it should be fixed in few minutes.

1 pot for .50 is very low... people buying now at that price are going to see insane profit.

Ahh, yes. Nobody can actual tell what the real price is at the moment because it is not on
a big exchange. The volume needs to be much higher, so a balance of demand and supply
will form. Also there will be pumps and dumps, bots and maybe whales that manipulate.

I am actually very happy about all these DDOS. That means, that there seem
to be people that are either afraid of the coins potential because they are
maybe planning to launch a similar one, or someone wants to keep the hashrate
down to mine more for himself. And that is another sign of believe in its potential
and high price in the future.

is this supposed to mean $.54? That price seems crazy to me. Like really high crazy (pun intended).

And where is a working exchange trading at that price?

It was a very rainy windy day so getting photos of the event wasn't great so i decided to take a picture in the van. All flyers were handed out if you can support what i am doing to help it would be greatly appreciated

Im no mathematician nor do I know why potcoin.tv is setting this price but what I do know is demand is high, lots of btc sales are happening and the bit that makes me feel the value is going up is becuase the network diff is now at 15 and growing, its getting tough and theres lots holding, the ones that are selling right now are feeding demand slowly. Just a guess. Waiting for cryptsy to know a 'right' value

Honestly there is no reason to trade POTCOIn right now, if you do with the difficulty going up so high you won't be mining the coins in a blizz. Hold your coins, I said it before the price for pot coin if we all hold should be around .02 . Stop asking why, if people want to buy at .0004 or less and you guys cave in then the price will be .0004 but guess what I will be sitting here laughing at you all cause you won't be getting your coins back. Good luck mining POTCOIN in 1 month, is going to be insane...
