And thats why ETC is worth 10% of what it should be. KIDS acting like KIDS Every post bitpop has in this ETH thread makes a ton of people do #facepalms ... including a lot of ETC fans. He keeps up putting shame and discredit on the top menu of ETC - virtually every crypto-coin, that has tried to give over 40% of their coins away for free has tanked. You can't get the Next Generation or Newcommers to invest in that crypto, therefore, it becomes like the Dodo - extinct. The only, Alt, I'm aware of too succeed with an "Airdrop" is "Aurora", but it struggles to get investors who don't live in Iceland (the people who got the 21 million free coins or 50% of the coins). ETC, is even worse than the standard Airdrops or Early Giveaway Alts; it has given away 80% of its coins away for free. Therefore, crypto-currency history indicates: ETC will be not be in Top 20 cryptos within 2 years time. The Next Generation and Newcomers loathe buying Alts, which have huge numbers of existing owners who paid nothing for there coins  |

I've benchmarked the Ethereum Network versus ETC Network. Using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Same internet provider and the same PC. Download of the ETH blockchain 40 minutes. Download of the ETC blockchain 420 minutes. As you can see, Ethereum Network is 10 times faster then ETC Network. Everybody knows: millions of dollars was spent on hardware and implementation too delivers these blistering speed advantages - this is the typical behaviour of businesses or industrial entities. Stop wasting our time by re-posting lies. |

Then why are you so worried about it that you cannot resist coming into this forum and posting all of your trash? What do you have to say about the open theft of ETC because your precious blockchain is "immutable"? Do you support theft? Are you a thief? If ETH is doomed and you and your other aliases claim, the why bother wasting your time in this forum? Go back to your ETC forum and try to convince your investors and supporters you will not rob them. But you will never convince me of that. |

FOR INFO::: 16.04 and future releases do not have the propriety FGLRX or FGLRX-UPDATES supported any more.... making GPU mining, well, not possible. Good for a GETH wallet though. 15.04 and 15.10 just fell out of active support - works good for GPU mining but -NO- security and maintenance updates - cybersecurity hazard. 14.04 is getting old but still supported till early 2019 - works good for GPU mining and still is getting security and maintenance support. 12.04 Support ended earlier this year - I hated the 11.04 through 13.10 releases, never tried 12.04 for mining. |

You never read the post properly? I not mining on Ubuntu 16.04LTS I use it too store all the wallet.qts and blockchains for various cryptos. It' a lot faster than using Windows for a wallet.qt Equally, you can install wine1.8 and run any crypto-coin's windows-qt.exe via that emulator. Once installed, configure wine1.8 to run as Windows 7 emulator. Therefore, everyone should have at least one Ubuntu installation for their crypto-coins wallet-qts. |

How is it supported by thieves? I think you meant ethf is supported by thieves. If code is law, why was it rolled back to save investors asses? It's their fault for putting money in to a contract with flawed code. Also, how the hell does it allow easy theft? It's an actual blockchain. Not an investor database like ethf. |
