Right now with BTC bear trend, everything is hard to predict what will be the ETH price. Hope 2019 will bring good raise for ethereum and all alt in general.

i never thought that eth price will go under 180$ but it happened in 2018
and yes you are right that nobody is able to predict that what's gonna happen in next few weeks
but i am sure that in 2019 eth will rise again with the whole crypto market
i just want eth stays at the place of second best crypto currency on coinmarketcap not third

• This is the wrong forum to expect much more than trolling and price talk.
• Ethereum development is much larger than it was even a year ago. Price movements aren't something any of those dev teams need to "overcome".

And the fall below $ 180 happened twice this year and in the next half a year or a year we are unlikely to see a positive movement. Until the final regulation of the laws occurs and after that the institutional investors do not come.

I'm not a trader but it doesn't take a genius to read this chart and figure out that it can only go down. I'm not sure what some of you are basing your info on but I find the comments and commenters here laughable at best, a mix of bots and spammers and amateur traders who only wish they knew a thing about what they're saying.

For those waiting for a miracle, keep waiting. The rise of ethereum was a scam to milk the token market before all these useless projects disappear for good.

We can better explain the current status this way. People stayed at the same place while projects moved ahead with development. If you look at the one year's ago discussion the same arguments on price will be seen. People are not here for technology or development but changes in price are discussed. That's why majority isn't paying attention to things at larger picture.

You found three correlations and say its a reason for going up but you can find any three going down or changing in any number of ways and say the same thing or the opposite. If we must determine the future price on something as pathetic as 3 similarities on a chart spanning 3 years then it is much easier to put your faith in the peaks and say it only gets lower.

So my counter argument to that without using MS Paint is to say look at the last three peaks, I can show just the same thing going down, always lower lows and that always points to a price decrease, powerfully ..

Your argument is against technical analysis. No idea how you think you can predict nothing but downward movement, since as you said:

I think that the real growth of the cryptocurrency market and ETH will begin in 2020. We are waiting for not very easy times in the near future, but we must show resilience.

dont' know if you are right... the two first coins presently on CMC are the more "institutional" and the less "libertarian" ones..
