Ethereum is in critical situation it seems it following the footstep on BTC when it goes down but not coming back like it. Current market showing big sell pressure which making the movement very bearish and it looking it will go more down in coming weeks.

Ethereum is not an exception, all crypto currencies have been in their critical phases, includes bitcoin too. Bitcoin has been in its own critical period, to test that whether it will be collapsed under $9k or will remain above $9k, and set up $9k as its new strong base-price-range for its next bullish run. Altcoins, includes Ethereum, have all gradually fallen down to the hell; and they have critically tried to set up their bottoms. I believe Ethereum will do successfully find its bottom, in ETH/BTC pair in coming days.

Finally someone who thinks like me....I'm waiting for the real bottom. Chinese have manipulated BTC price ever sense Coinbase announced what they believed was the bottom back at 3200.

Whales continue accumulating ETH. Almost 80% of ETH controlled by only few hundred addresses. No doubts that one day it will be pumping above its ATH.

Ethereum is having some hard days, even that the future might be brighter for this "BIG" blockchain, we shall not forget that Ethereum has lots and lots of issues with the wallet and the capability of using the Real Ethereum Wallet and not a 3rd party wallet just like Metamask or Parity. We, as Ethereum holders and users, we want a wallet with the ability to connect directly to the nodes of eth and interacting using the official wallet, what can Vitalik do for us? or is it a hard problem for him to solve? I suggest sharing the official Ethereum wallet with built-in technology that makes us able to connect to the network using an online node without the necessity of downloading the whole network which is so large for our small Pc's.

How to debug a mainnet transaction which uses Delegatecall without running a full node ?

I need to debug a transaction which was reverted on mainnet.
The problem with most Debuggers (including remix), is if there’s a ᴅᴇʟᴇɢᴀᴛᴇᴄᴀʟʟ in that case, they don’t attempt to load the target contract code and instead continues wrongly over trying emulating execution with the current contract (because the opcode isn’t implemented correctly).

A second issue is with a 400Kb/s connection speed, I can’t download anything larger than a 1Tb within a reasonable timeframe.

Anyone looking at the ETHBTC ratio on Binanace right now?

I just noticed and it looks like for the last few hours there was a large wall exactly at 0.018848. So far there are 10,000 ETH on the bid which is about 200 BTC worth so about $2,000,000 however this wall has been getting filled for a while so the total order might of been much larger.

I am assuming that the money is coming back into alts and that we hit the low for ETHBTC at least for the ratio. In the near term I don't think we will go much lower. The dominance peaked at 70% and will probably slowly start heading back.

Things should get more interesting when we start September.

Relative weakness is likely to continue.

The biggest problem ETH has is that the whole Alt market is losing market cap to the relative security of BTC, and ETH has the most market cap to lose.

If ppl want to switch from alts to BTC, ETH is the first to get sold, because it contains more value.

September should be start point for BTC. As Bakkt willbe launched on 23rd September. So alts should start grow in October. Thats was in 2017 during BTC futures and bullrun.

Everything is base on assumption, personally i don't see eth as bad as some people want to paint it, yes, there are some ico's that result to scam and all that but we can also note that through erc20 we have some great project too, besides i love using eth to transfer more than using master btc, i find it more easier, eth price may be slow to get back up but it still eventually does.

I saw that as well. The price in Bitfinex is also about 0.0188 now. It seems that big wall did not enhance the price further.

LOL, WTH is up with Vitalik?

“It’s already expensive and it will be even five times more expensive because of us. There is pressure keeping people from joining.”

So after all this time and wait (for Sharding, 2.0, PoS switch, etc) he's now going to openly admit that Ethereum developers still couldn't find a solution for scaling? Lips sealed

EDIT: Strange, but CoinTelegraph didn't include the whole thing he said. CCN reports:

It’s already expensive and it will be even five times more expensive because of us. There is pressure keeping people from joining, but improvements in scalability can do a lot in improving that."

There is a feeling that in its development the ethereum in a sense has come to a standstill, the problem of scaling has obviously turned out to be more complicated than it seemed at first glance and this is annoying.

Keyword there is 'private'. It's not on the Ethereum blockchain, rather 'based on'. It does nothing for Eth or the Ethereum network.

Correct. It seems like it's not based on the main Ethereum chain.
