What is the reason behind the ETH has gone 8%down today and other coins also downside why Crypto market suddenly crashed happen is there any reason behind this. So this is the best time to buy ETH or I have to wait for some more time to buy.
Some are thinking that the BTC futures contracts that are due on Friday are the cause. Others the testimony Zuckerberg is giving to the USA Congress right now about Libra. Whatever the reason, it's industry wide not just Eth. Nothing has changed with Eth to my knowledge. Nothing is change only the price.  There is no bad news but more of the coins in top 100 affected with a loss of 7-15 percent in just one day let us see if this will continue until tomorrow. There is no bad news all this happening because of the recent changes in the price of BTC so others are following it . No need to be worry about this and get panic without any reason ETH is still performing much better as compare with other altcoins. All this is due to the mass closure of futures contracts for Bitcoin. |

Bitcoin got hit hard on Oct 23, losing $500 in one hour. ETH suffered, too. But while BTC lost 8%, ETH is only down by 6%. We're sure that once the Brexit hype dies down, it'll recover.

There is no bad news all this happening because of the recent changes in the price of BTC so others are following it . No need to be worry about this and get panic without any reason ETH is still performing much better as compare with other altcoins.
When BTC goes down it is usually altcoins like ethereum will follow it and that is common in crypto when yesterday all altcoins dropped. Sure, i don't panic in this case because i often see the moment when altcoins goes down And i will take this opportunity to buy more ETH |

It's normal in crypto world

At this point it looking really strong coin after the BTC than no need to be worry surely they will bring interesting solution in future as they are working hard to make implement some changes in future. I think so current performance is showing this is truly amazing project. |

Nice to see ETH rise a little bit.
It will face serious competition from other following in its smart contract format and will lose ground to some IEOs but for now it is doing well.

Yes I've listened to some of the dev call on the YouTube channel. It seems that this time they are taking preparation at least in case they run into some unexpected bugs right before the fork and they can postpone it another month like they had to do last year. I remember that the fork was due in less than 2 days and some bug was found and they had to cancel the fork and lead to a lot of disappointment. For those wondering this fork doesn't have ProgPOW algo change, that might be issued in the fork right after this one sometime in 2020. |

I don't see any import at changes in the Istanbul update for us end-users, unless ofcourse I'm missing something.
So they're increasing the fees for "recalling data from the blockchain"... whatever that means (I hope it won't affect every little historic call).
They're also making some changes that make some kind of authentications by applications quicker.
No algorithm change.
Anything else that's important?

Either this, or they'll create their own Ethereum-like blockchain like they're doing with every little thing that exists! Then they'll ban Ethereum and force the usage of their own product because... censorship and propaganda! |

i only just found out yesterday (ya im slow, i know), that the foundation is being run by a high school teacher now (how did THAT happen?) i guess the next few years should be "interesting" i still think PoS will be popular, but personally im a bit scared now |
