How much patience is acceptable before it transitions in to boredom and fatigue regardless of whether it is associated with Ethereum 2.0 or any other crypto? we must be patient, the development of great changes is always slow (and delayed)

Besides the upgrade to Ethereum 2.0, I am waiting for solution to solve such high transaction fees like recent strange transactions. I don't care about the hacked wallets because it is responsibility of wallet owners to secure their wallets. What I care about is such hacked wallets probably cause sudden high fees on Ethereum network and it affects the whole Ethereum transactions with very higher fees than usual.

The high transactions fees are an anomaly affecting some transactions which should reset across the board soon. I would not be concerned about transaction fees. https://blog.f2pool.com/en/announcement-en/handling-of-abnormal-eth-tx-enF2Pool’s handling of abnormal Ethereum (ETH) transaction fee on June 11, 2020 "In order to say thank you to those that have firmly supported and trusted F2Pool even before all the details of the incident were fully disclosed, we negotiated with the original address holder to keep 10% of the transaction fee (231 ETH) and use it for a one-week event of 0% mining fees for F2Pool Ethereum mining, from 2020-06-20 to 2020-06-26 (inclusive). Any shortfall will be covered by F2Pool.
After we are completely satisfied with the verification process, F2Pool has returned 2079 ETH to the new address 0x3ecef08d0e2dad803847e052249bb4f8bff2d5bb which has been provided by the sender, the related transaction ID is: 0xee077b832698ccd575b0c9eae8da15ed4aa64b38f369c11935bc795793064a59. "

Every time we get close to launch date we are hit with an announcement about a delay. bit tired of that lol

They have hyped up ETH 2.0 for so long and made so many promises, I hope it is not going to have issues by the time they eventually launch.

vitalik.eth @VitalikButerin ETH2 scaling for data will be available *before* ETH2 scaling for general computation. This implies that rollups will be the dominant scaling paradigm for at least a couple of years: first ~2-3k TPS with eth1 as data layer, then ~100k TPS with eth2 (phase 1). Adjust accordingly.
https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1277961594958471168If you read a tweet, then Vitalik tells us about phase 1. This is very cool, but we must understand that phase 1 does not support smart contracts. Support for smart contracts is promised to us in phase 2. All major transactions will be in ETH 1.0 before starting phase 2.

As a smart contract is one of the most important feature IMO. Will they roll out staking in the first phase of 2.0 or the second phase?

As long as there is a clear plan and a clear timetable that stays true to its target then people will be willing to happily wait but if the launch gets delayed again and again then interest will dry up. So far it seems if all goes well and all modifications are implemented then ETH 2.0 will be a force to be reckoned with. https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1277961594958471168If you read a tweet, then Vitalik tells us about phase 1. As a smart contract is one of the most important feature IMO. Will they roll out staking in the first phase of 2.0 or the second phase? After the launch of ETH 2.0 (phase 0), no one will need a new network, except for POS miners (validators). I do not yet understand how the bridge between ETH 1.0 and ETH 2.0 will work (one way, or both). We will get 2 types of ETH: fast transactions with low commissions but without smart contracts and slow transactions with market commissions + smart contract support. If the launch time increases between phases, this will negatively affect for ETH. The price can rise for several common reasons: 1. Increase in demand for a coin 2. Reduction in the number of coins in circulation "1.Ethereum 2 phase 0; 2.EIP-1559; 3.The end of mining; and 4.Ethereum 2 phase 2." https://www.attestant.io/posts/charting-ethereum-issuance/And after phase 2 we can see 1 and 2 reason, but it’s very difficult to say how long Phase 2 will start. staking will be launched in phase 0

I agree if there's a huge gap between the rollouts of phase 0,1,2 then it will surely affect ETH's price because they have already delayed it so much that I don't think the community will have any patience left for the smart contract release.
