This is so true. We need to check the kinds of investments we put our bitcoins into to ensure quality results.

its better for you if you just stay for bitcoin for now, and try to learn things about altcoins before you start investing or trying to hold for long term, because you might end up losing.

You may be right but We always don't see same scenario. We may face to some risk in this stiuation so maybe investing basic coins such as bitcoin is better.

You do not understand that bitcoin will grow and you will in any case remain in the black. You shouldn't talk like that, it's stupid enough.

Usually I'm trying to make something with my bitcoins, but also I am afraid to do that in the big terms because bitcoin costs a little bit more than $100, so it is always a great risk to turn your bitcoin into something else.

Why not? Bitcoin is the most reliable coin for holding in long term. Yep, in comparisson with altcoins, it`s not that profitable, however, it has high liquidity and social interest is concentrated on it. If you don't want to spend a lot of time by research and trading then it's better to buy assets like BTC/ETH and just hold. When the market will rise these two projects will be just fine. Because altcoins much more risky and you have to do some portfolio adjustments from time to time.

What you are saying is logical, but investments in bitcoin are more reliable, unlike altcoins. Therefore, if a person prefers low risk investments, then I would advise him to better keep Bitcoin.

A very wrong idea about investing as well as Bitcoin hold. Although the recent BTC rate has always fallen and lost confidence among investors, it can not be denied that holding BTC, in the long run, will make a big profit. 2017 proved that when the exchange rate BTC has increased 20 times from the beginning of the year until the end of the year. Therefore investing and holding long-term BTC is necessary.

Bitcoin is much more stable for long term investment rather than altcoins. If there are times that btc price is on dip, well, that is the norm. No investment that only take one direction. In every trading market, such as fiat, stocks or cryptocurrency, there is always a bullish and bearish trend. It only depend on how you play the venture of trading.

I also think we should not keep bitcoin for a long time. Because its price is very unusual. Whenever you find a word, you should. Previously I also kept bitcoin waiting for high profits not sold until now its price is low I can not even sell.

Hold is Bitcoin for long time, there is no much profit. You know why ?

Because if you only hold Bitcoin your balance will grow up only on USD rate. For example you hold 1 BTC . Current price 7500$. It's might 10k after some day. But you still have only 1 BTC.

Now think you have 1 btc and you convert it into BCH. Example for 1 BTC you get 10 BCH. Rate per bch is 0.1 BTC .

After some day if Bitcoin grow up, At the same time BCH also will grow up.
If bch rate grow 1.5 btc then you will have 1.5 BTC.

But before buy alt coin please select best coin to avoid dump.

So what you think. Hold alt coin or Bitcoin ?

For me,  it depends upon the situation of price value. If I see the price of bitcoin in the market is not so high then I will not sell my bitcoin.I rather than hold it for a while no matter how long I wait the price movements. Because I believed that bitcoin will have to pumps up again in a very high price value.

Dont sell if losing more money and hold if you can. Well we all know that price is volatile so keep observing the price. Once btc surges its price sell to earn profit.

In my opinion,it really depends to your goals,But for me,I want to make a profit everyday than holding a bitcoin for a long time. Before ,I was thinking to hold my bitcoin whatever it takes but I realized its  not healthy to be affected when bitcoin is fall everytime you check it on the market. So set your goal and learn when  to enter and exit in bitcoin .

Dear friend, i think you should hold the same Bitcoin and Altcoins, example: use 50% your free money to HOLD BTC and the remain for Altcoins. This is the good method that so many people are using. Good luck and thanks

If you are an early adaptor or user, holding Bitcoin is practical and beneficial. But for late users or traders like myself, Bitcoin should only be a mode of exchange for other currencies. Unless you are a big player who can purchase a bunch of Bitcoins even at current price, profit would still be pretty. But for small players, it's not practical. We are better off dealing with altcoins at this point since there are more room for growth in terms of value and profit.

The long term investments have proven in the last bull run that should be sold inthe bull runs and have a patience to be bought in lower prices, so indeed to hold for a long time is not very good strategy.

I am a participant in the part-time password market. I do not have much time to monitor and analyze the market. Therefore, I always choose the coins to give me a certain chance. BTC is one such coin. I will keep my BTC and wait to profit from the strong electronic currency and the value always increases over time.

It's better to hold bitcoin than altcoins n my opinion. What you said above has to deal with trading. It's also possible to trade bitcoins a couple of times per week, but the gains are usually lower than trading alts. As there are many coins that are getting dumped, it's better not to fall into them by trading bitcoins.

You are right. Now the role of bitcoin is more positive. Trading token is more convenient and fast through other coins.
