Hi!  No multi-platform client? Windows only?
Linux is on our agenda as well (using mingw cross platform compiler and Qt - cross platform GUI framwork so everything is "ready" for linux) but we will not have that done until launch probably. Until then you can use WINE

Native Linux and Mac OS X clients is a must. Wink

french translation is awful ^^

I didn't read it till now.. Shocked

exo_coin : it's just a google translated version of the OP   Shocked   -   i think the guy who did it don't even speak french (or didn't read what he copy/past from google or worse translation)

If you want a quality and understandable one, tell me

Wow! And the term "translation" is used very loosely here! If that "translator" did any other "translation" in other language they should be reviewed as well.  Cry

Oh thank you three for notification. I do not understand a single word french Wink I'll come back to your offer tomorrow via pm. Besides the original translator will not get coins for that

Alright the update will be delayed again. We will deliver the update in 24h I guess.
But we have a good reason for that Wink: the last hours we have developed a linux core system (no GUI build yet).
After fixing some bugs caused by the windows->linux translation it seems to be (nearly) as stable as the windows core client (there is one issue left that we are currently working on). Then we will need to test it a bit.

So that's the plan: update tomorrow, containing:
- bugfixes and improvements
- more possible commands in debugwindow/core client builds (like create address etc)
- console linux client
- maybe linux GUI client as well if we can manage that in-time
- alle nodes will run the core linux client then (and not wine like it is now - then we can be sure that not a WINE bug is causing the one or another crash and it will increase overall performance and stability)
- console windows client
- small stability update for the cpu miner

The linux client has been developed on centos 6 x86 so no guarantee for other types of linux yet (but please report working and failing OS types)...

#edit: We'll take the next hours for converting proxy/updater/vote server/bug report server/miner programs to linux as well.

Ok, this is what I think EXO coin is doing. I have a very strong hunch that they are basically a NXT clone. They are legit in that sense and have used Escrow no problems. But i'm highly suspicious of what they are doing. They have an excange set up only for BTC and EXO coin!!!!

Here's what we are looking at. They are going to use the large percentage of EXO coins they have to buy a ton of BTC and disappear before anyone asks for source code. It will be the biggest scam ever seen in the Crypto world even dwarfing MTGOX.

You've been warned.

Most people who speak like that aren't clever enough to see the bus that's about to hit them in my experience. Like I said, I warned you, what more do you want from me?

First Stage 65 direct x 91 scrow
Second Stage 87 direct x 29 scrow
= ~152 BTC in hands. Dev had a good amount.

Why be wasting time programming. Because the investiments limit in second stage if it is scam? Could be much more.

Ok, what about: http://wiki.exocoin.org/index.php?title=Sourcecode
that's only a partial sourcecode publish yet but we are adding files from time to time (two days ago many new files). There should be at least 80% public at launch and we are going to release 100% later. And you can see right now that it is not a clone if you seek through the existing files there. Besides, as mentioned, it is c++ and not java...

#edit: good point as well from funnynews. We already put huge amounts of time into developement. Why doing that when we could get off with all the direct investments we had without showing code?

I see no reason not to believe you wouldn't create a shit buggy simple shell coin that could potentially net more than 10 million dollars for you. sarc off..

150BTC is peanuts compared to the massive potential to use the large amount of premined coins to buy up BTC. We really are talking if the coin is semi successful in terms of millions of dollars.

You said it was a hunch. Maybe you can list the red flags that's sticking out for you that makes you believe this is a scam?

If someone HAS the power to steal 10 Million dollars in complete anonymity I think the onus is on you to prove he can't or won't.

I'm particularly suspicious that the only trade that will be possible is BTC-EXOcoin. Why would you limit trading in this way?

Who has really proven the code is original? Seems to me most people haven't really tested the source code but are going on what they have been told. Plus the client is highly buggy, seems like they didn't care about it working well but just working enough to take BTC off people.

You made very specific allegations about Exo being a Nxt clone. On what basis did you do that?

I am developer. Java is completely different from C. Would make a hell of work to adapt code. Perhaps the concept, some mathematical formula, but I would prefer to program from scratch.

Exo is the only currency that is not a clone and it is getting easier to use since the first version.

If nxt with first ugly java client, with all code in a single class, forcing the user to make one ".bat" was a hit, imagine the potential of the exo with all the functionalities promissed on the client.

Just need be thoroughly tested by the community concerned before release and if need be postponed until stay stable. One month more not kill anyone if the product to get better.
