This moment is normal. Many projects did not expect that there would be such a long fall in the market and simply did not calculate their strength. But very good projects still try to close the bounty and the collection of funds on time.

Some bounties are fake and scams and everyone should check all links before joining, and other real bounties not get the required threshold thats why extend deadlines.

Well, it depends it's normal when they decide to extend the ICO campaign to gather more funds for the projects and because of that the Bounty campaign is extended too.But there are cases where the projects can be scams so be very careful when you enroll in a project.Read the whitepaper read the reviews and see other people's opinions about that ICO.

Why do many bounty progressors and projects extend their sales period or their campaigns. Because the target has not been reached. Because there are so many ICO projects every day. All compete with big bonuses. It all depends on the investor. If many investors invest in an ICO project, of course, a project will not extend its time.

A scam if that bounty will never reply to your questions on when they will start distributing your tokens.

Marketing do extend in certain period of time if they find it working for their project. They will end a campaign if it doesn't contribute well.

my view why most ico extend the duration of the bounty for so long the main factor because they are difficult to get funds from investors, Besides that they still need bounty hunters to promote their projects to be known to investors

At the time these thread started there were still more campaigns that now raising, at almost 5 times (4.86x) fund raised than the next quarter (Q2= $1.59 billions compared to Q3 7.73 billions (according coingecko Q3 review) . Q3 saw a high decline in successful project: 193 ICO was successful (maybe from the level of soft-cap) out of 388 (according coingecko Q3 review). Most project slated for the last quarter were postpone due to market condition and some extended

Hi there! I participating in several bounty campaign. In 4 out of 5 campaign deadline was extended. In one be extend for a month, in another - for 2, in a third - for an indefinite period. Say please, this is normal or it is attribute of scam?
Thank!

I cannot deny that most of the ico project this year 2018 was implemented that methods to extend their project most often. It was happened because obviously they didn't meet the soft cap target at the time period of their goal. Where they are oblige to extend it, or their other reason also it is because of the market price value according to them, but I doubt it.

Bounty campaign is like business situation.  Assuming your business offline is not getting the sales needed to cover operating expenses,  would you continue the business while you have debt obligations?  I will  bet you would stop to re-strategize and delay suppliers payment!

in my opinion if a bounty extends its campaign does not mean that their project is scam. this is usually done by teams for certain reasons, for example, waiting for the achievement of the ICO, or waiting for stable prices in the market.

This is normal, if the project does not collect the necessary amount of money for the development of the stated period, the project can extend the terms of sales and bounty terms, respectively.

It's a sign that those ICO has not collected the enough money to start the project. This is mostly happens on the ICO with the downfall of the prices of Bitcoin and ETH which they can't collect enough funds due to no investors will not going to invest if the market will continuously go the bottom and the project will going to extend their ICO sale. Although we are slowly recovering and I'm hoping that the confidence to those investors will also go back to invest on those ICO.

The only thing is that today there are a huge number of points that do not come, that is, many companies still can not collect the normal amount of funds for life, it turns out that today just investors no longer invest.

Usually, ICO is extended in the event that they could not even collect Softcap, but as a rule, not everyone succeeds in even collecting the necessary amount!

It is normal, if a project indicates in rules that bounty will be going until ICO is finished, and later because of market conditions they are forced to move their ICO start date (just because otherwise they won't be able to collect the money), therefore bounty period is moved as well

many people argue that this market problem is very important in the case of project extension or cancellation. but with that we can see this is the time for us to wait and be patient from market conditions like this.

everything has a logic. bounty campaign is a marketing program. if the project cannot collect enough money, they extend the bounty campaign, they just have to increase the pool for bounty, but they are not doing that. that's not fair

I think the problem here is that bounty managers cannot correctly form the strategy and development of the bounty campaign, and as a result, they have to change the rules during campaign.
