Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH??

Since most of the alt coins are traded with BTC or ETH. SO I think altcoins prie are dependent on the price of this two.

precisely for bitcoin, the market has been bound by bitcoin. ups and downs of bitcoin will greatly affect the turnover of all existing altcoins including those that are still ico investment projects.

It seems that everything depends on bitcoin price and not on ethereum price. Bitcoin is the main coin and not ethereum. So if we see sometimes a crash in crypto we will have an idea that it was not because of ethereum rather it is because of bitcoin. That's the facts about what I observed.

This is absolutely correct because the current altcoins use BTC and ETH technology to create their own Token. Therefore the BTC and ETH rates will determine the entire exchange rate of the market. So if you do not have much trade experience then invest in BTC and ETH instead of altcoins.

yes I know Altocoin is dependent on BTC because I see if the price of BTC rises altcoin also rises and if the price of Bitcoin decreases altcoin also decreases and since altcoin also follows the bitcoin journey and to follow  to ETH it is impossible according to me because I know this coin can either alone because it has good growth

Yes this are things that the traders labeled as BTC or ETH dominance, I believe it has a very big effect on alts prices because this are major coins that are paired to altcoins. Yet most of the exchanges only accept BTC or ETH as an entry. There are few who's planning and now implementing a fiat to crypto format, So for now i believe those two are big indicators when it comes to price changes.

The price of the coins depend on the demand of the coins. If there are many people doing transaction (buying and selling) or trading that particular coin, then it may increase the price. There are instances that BTC ecreases but a particular coin increases because of the demand and transaction of the people.

Probably yes because everytime Bitcoin is rising all crypto are also rising so when it fall all altcoin are going to fall also, but there's some altcoin are not depend on Bitcoin or Ethereum price, but still Bitcoin and Ethereum are the crypto now that have huge value and have big impact to all crypto of there price because they are rising now so the altcoin also rise. Also Bitcoin price has effect to all altcoin because they follow what ever happen in Bitcoin.

I believe yes.Altcoin prices are dependent on both ETH and BTC price.As you can see in coinmarketcap,as the value of bitcoin increases most of altcoins are also increasing and when bitcoin value decreases, altcoins are also decreasing.That's how important bitcoin is in the market exchange.

altcoins derived their value from bitcoin this is becaue when you calculate the satoshi value of an altcoin and multiply it by the usd value of bitcoin, you will see the value of the altcoin in value.

but you should also know the value of an altcoin grows healthily by the value it creates for investors. while unhealthily, it is mostly due to pump and dump groups or just a pump.

I see it for this price Altcoin will not rely on the price of Bitcoin or Ethereum. because I see the price of Altcoin is dependent on their respective development. to make their prices high to improve their development first. because for the increasing development can affect the price ahead.

I think alt coins merely depend its market price from BTC because as we can see, almost all cryptos can be tradable with bitcoin. That's also the very reason why alt coins' market price fluctuates when bitcoin is falling down and will also spike when bitcoin rises high.
