You don't need higher education in order to make a job you like, or to get rich.
In fact, specialization (=education, higher or not) in a specific profession could limit your opportunities as you will be focused primary in what you've learned.

However, knowledge to many of us is an inner driving, to learn what makes the world go round and why.
You don't need degrees and certificates in order to achieve that.

knowledge matters not the higher education

Then google should be the most wise and smartest system on Earth. Isn't the knowledge just a tool to extract wisdom from?

it depends on what you want to do. Most of the trades (plumbers, electricians, etc.) provide great-paying careers and dont need a higher education; especially with many millenials considering those jobs as "beneath them".

If you want to work in research, sciences, or anything that requires a very specialized backgorund, go for higher education. With the legalization of cannabis in Canada, alot of cannabis "experts" are coming out of every corner of the country, but alas, no one will take them seriously because they have no scientific or research-based background.

Even business and entrepreneurship is a grey area with how many resources and reputable online classes that are available to the public. As long as you have a solid portfolio, your educational background shouldnt negatively affect you.

But you also have to consider the intangibles of a higher education: critical tihnking, dealing with people of different skills/cultures/specializations, emotional intelligence, networking, learning how to deal with crazy debt lol, etc.

I'd say that it's really important to get a degree. That way it's much easier to find a well-paid job. But it's not that important to study as hard as possible while you are in university. I mean, you can miss some classes, find top-rated custom essay writing services like this smart writing service and use them, you don't need to get best grades always, the main point is just finally getting a degree.

Agreed. "D's get Degrees"  Grin Grin Grin

I would honestly say yes for the 'higher education' experience. I wouldn't be who I am without all of the connections and amazing professors I had the privilege of learning from .

Do you really need a Degree these days?
If you had to do it all over would you go to college?
of course today we need college because lectures will teach us more modern and broad ways of thinking and make us know the world without missing the news

In my country the bachelor's degree is the primary certification to get a full time job in corporations. But how much you'll get paid definitely  depend on your performance.
right indeed we are paid depending on the level of our work and how long we contribute to the company, but if we study at least our minds will be more critical in facing life

For me, yes it is. Higher education is important as long as you remain humble and have the proper attitude and have a self well strategy to life. Having a higher education makes you gain more not only knowledge but also a lots of experience that turns you into a matured indiviadual having to experience a lots of challenges and obstacles in life.

Of course, science has evolved and we have to have at least a university degree. I study human medicine and I started with specialization now. It is not easy, but it is enjoyable.

I don't think so. The basic fundamentals of sucess are dedication and passion on what you are doing. If you are really passionate on what you are doing, you can study on your own and be better than someone who studied it with higher education.

My passion in the first place is to become an expert in real estate. Although it's ambitious, I'm not stop learning until I reached it. I will reach it with no doubt in myself that I can.

College degree is one of the requirements of some companies you wanted to be employed so they are essential. But your skills and expriences is independent from your diploma. Think about playing games like online gambling. It is not about how premium your account is, it's all about how you play and win.

Diploma isn't just the factor for employment because your skills and achievements will speak for you in the job interview. I like gaming because players there are anonymous and we are all equal in that world. How do you play for online gambling? Do you play for the "fun" or do you play to earn money?

I mainly play online gambling for fun and not for a source of finance. And I've got a different job far from this industry. The most fundamental principle of healthy gambling is to play only the money you are afford to lose. Things are expensive right now so use your money first in important things like education so in the future you can enjoy things like online gambling more.

I think so, thank God I have my title, but if I still did not have it, I would try to do it because I see it very necessary because it opens the doors, you may not get the job you want, but you can do others, but the fact Having a title is synonymous with respect and trust.
