Need new X11 & X13 coins to increase profitability. Last few days the other pool I run in parallel was mining some newer coins and was doing better in both these algo.

What coins are you suggesting Nothing compares to steady profitability of Judgecoin right now and I advise to invest in it while it is still cheap, PoW will end and we will lose it in a matter of weeks. I am buying and supporting it also EDIT: I'm buying more as soon as Sunday payouts arrive

eg. X13 Apex. All recent profitable coins have short POW. For profitability, need to hit early and run. Maybe the strategy of profit pool needs to change a bit, like supporting more algo. NIST5 N5X was also profitable last few days.

I agree more algo needed to stay on top of new coin launches. I am mining groestl algo coins also By now, PW must have some sort of template worked out for adding new algo's ... still waiting for X15 ...

Poolwaffle, can you add a way to set the vsLTC multipliers for X11, X13, X15, nscrypt? Cookies or just parameters to the url or something, since we all have different ones based on the card, drivers used, script, operation system, etc, so we can easily see what is best for us to mine? Something like: http://wafflepool.com/stats/x11?x11=4.5&x13=3.7.. etc? While it certainly isn't as nice as having it native to the wafflepool website, I created a little script that pulls the current BTC/MHs/D and multiplies that by your actual hash rate to give you an estimate of what you'd expect to make in BTC for each algorithm. You can find it at http://149.5.241.57 for now anyway, I will probably give it a more permanent home sometime or take it down if PW implements it natively. Thanks dude, much appreciated, working great

For profitability, need to hit early and run.
Time ago I find Kimo (KMC) and turn my rigs for mining KMC. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=670300It looks that this coin is now in new reliable hands. (previously management was bad) Coin is now cheap but it have potential to rise. It have interesting design if look block reward. Buy now and keep or mine now and keep ans sell after rise. Or even direct mine and sell give some profit but today it need exchange first to LTC. In Comkort exchange there can see that activity have started slowly rise after coin have new management. (I have nothing to do with dev team. I'm only intersted to find new promising coin in early phase.) Also coin logo is still terrible but it is changing. Go and vote monero moo new logo what is perhaps best but of course - you vote what you like. (it need just 10 seconds your time) Also from KMC faucet you can get some free coins, (random amount but typical some thousands and need only give your KMC address) And yes, part of my rigs are still mining in waffle (months), of course.

What is Wafflepool making different/better than those other pools out there i tried until now (clevermining, profitpool, weMineLTC etc etc)
I have by far the fewest HW Errors and rejection rate is OK - all around the most stable pool i tried so far and payout also top (real payout not what is advertised on the websites)
So what is Wafflepool making different/ better than it´s competitors?
edit: i am from the home of the best soccer team of the world, mining with 11 Gridseeds (Hashra Image, Rasberry PI) over stratum+tcp://eu.wafflepool.com:3333 (think Amsterdam Server)

The downward pressure is alot higher this way. Even if it goes PoS in a few weeks, I'm not sure its value will rise significantly.

Yep, just watched beginning of a Pump ... I'll get out when time is right I think I have illustrated the need for gigantic buy walls to them to prevent such attempts and maintain a steady price (And as a side effect for us mining to keep profits up.)

Still not sure why we need any other coins. I am ok with BTC and it will succeed.
95% of the Altcoins will die anyway. Still looking for those 5% who are still there in 10 years from now on.

Diamondcoin V2 is here for the long-run, just had 1 year birthday recently which is quite rare for altcoins to make it that long. Multipools have not embraced groestl algo to my knowledge and DMD is still Solo mineable

Sweet! I just got payouts on all algo's even ones that were below threshold. Thanks PW for adding combining each balance across all algos to meet threshold _ I see that it was ali in same transaction so no additional cost to you

Quick update guys: From now on (first went out about 15min ago), payouts will be merged for all algorithms. This means two things, if you previously were mining 2+ algorithms, and receiving 2+ payouts each payout period, you will now only be receiving 1 payout (for the same total as the previous multiple). Second, the payout threshold is now cross-algo, so if you had 0.003 in X11, and 0.003 in X13, you would previously not be paid either (neither met the 0.005 requirement), now you would be paid (0.006 total meets the threshold). At the current time we're not planning on adding X15 (very few coins, and of them, very low profitability on average). I'll keep a watch on new coins, and if something does pop up we'll look into it again, but at the current time, its not worth it (for miners or the pool in general). Next up on the list are a few things. I know I've mentioned an algo-switching set of ports in the past, but there are a few more things I'd like to jump on before we do that: - Upgrades to our stratum system to support certain coins that require multiple transactions (donations normally) in the coinbase. Specifically things like Apexcoin and Marucoin (I was watching both closely, just a problem having them supported rather than missing them). Our current system only supports one payout transaction (to the pool), and these coins require 2, one to the pool, and one to a donation address (which is either a percent, or a hard amount of coins). So upgrading our stratum endpoints will allow us to add those types of coins in the future (should only take a few days I think). - Tuning of the profit switcher. For the longest time it has been working great, with extremely few tweaks (in Jan-March we were tweaking it every 12 hours to optimize), and we haven't needed to touch it in a long time. I'd like to take a few days to give it another look and see how it can be optimized for the new coin landscape (not sure exactly what this means, need to look into it first), but I think there are some things in there we could do to increase profitability a bit. After that, I think its probably on to the multi-algo auto-switcher. Sorry to bump it back, just some things that I think need handled before we get to it

I'll update my OP to remove X15 coming soon to WP for the time being, as I too see not a lot of interest in yet another X algo ... LOL we'll be up to X99. @PW I must have looked at my stats at just the right time to beat you to the announcement of payout combining

I am anxiously awaiting the multi-algo. I have switched most of my rigs now to run that as a test, and so far so good on my side. I will quickly switch back everything once you get around to it, as I'd prefer to be mining with you, but trying to squeeze every little bit out that I can! In terms of X15, someone is interested in it today, as the multi-algo is switching to X15 as the most profitable for a lot of today. Must be someone getting into a new coin being released and ordering up hashrate.

Can you tell which coin it is? FYI MAIAcoin is pure PoS now and if they are mining it they are on a fork full of orphans ...
