Hi,

I'm missing a payment.  On the pool side, it shows a payment. On blockchain.info it also shows the payment. But it's not showing on my wallet!!

Could someone please clarify how I could fix this.

thanks.

Sync your wallet?

I'm using electrum. I don't need to sync. And days after, I'm still missing the payment. I don't know who to contact for this.

Most likely the electrum devs.  The payment most definitely was sent (it shows up on blockchain, has confirmations, etc).  But if your wallet isn't showing it for some reason, that's where the problem is Sad

poolwaffle,

Thank you for the reply.  Electrum guys are helping out on it now.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Anyone else seeing a crazy high stale rate? I'm seeing 35-45% on two of my rigs.

Never mind. It's dropping already.

Maybe it was a particularly painful coin switch.

been mining nothing but litecoin for almost two months now.

pool admin I feel bad for you. great job on the pool but now the market dropped out of alt coins. still looks like
you have a lot of hash power which is good but i thought explosive growth was coming your way when I first joined.

good luck!

Huh? WafflePool mines many other coins then Litecoin, and WP has been consistently more profitable then straight LTC. Keep in mind that 100% LTC is still a statistically derived rate, and you would never actually achieve 100% LTC income due to variance, orphans, pool fees, etc.  Your "closest" comparison would be litecoinpool (because it's PPS) - after adding their 4% fee and subtracting WP's 2% fee, the WP vs LTC Stat would need to drop below 94% before it was actually more profitable to only mine litecoin for that day.

Certainly tho, the altcoin market is in a bit of a slump. That's okay, it happens often enough, and will probably pick up again when we see another boom in BTC/LTC interest.

I hope PoolWaffle gets nscrypt multipool going soon - interesting profit opportunities there.  I have been leasing some of my GPU equipment for mining scrypt(n=11) for the last few days, and it has been over twice the profit as compared to WP.  scrypt(n=10) is nearing the end of its profitable life for GPUs already, it seems.

Our %LTC values are also post-fee.  So for the last few days where we have been at 100% LTC, we've essentially been at 102% LTC, minus 2% fee = 100% LTC paid.  Explained another way, that 100% LTC is what you're getting paid, not what the pool earned Smiley

Hi, quick question. I´m running 2 Gridseeds at 850MhZ via RasBerry PI (Hashra img), Europe, Server Amsterdam

These i my numbers ( i think Rejection Rate is normal 1-5% for a coin switching pool )

Mining Session Overview (23 hrs 44 mins 24 seconds )
0.711 Mh/s current hashrate 0.723 Mh/s avg hashrate 1698 / 58 Acc./Rej.
3.42 % rejection rate
8 Hardware errors

But those 8 Hardware Errors, (i have some when running at 800 MHZ, too)

I understand 0 Errors best, but should i care and restart from time to time?

Don't worry about gridseed HWs, not at this rate anyway. As long as your actual hashrate is ok - and for 2 gridseeds 0.723 Mh/s over 24 hours is fine.

Renting out from WP is another option I had debated a while ago, the unfortunate part is it takes either a massive overhaul of our internals (none of our existing stuff would work for it), or a ton of trust working with another party to proxy all of our hashrate as a whole (who knows if they'll pay, etc).

@poolwaffle

Don't work with any other website, lease it yourself direct to customers.
People need to offer BTC/Mhash more than what WP can make to take advantage of its hashrate. That way, you can behave that customers like a coin. Make a proxy to that address and point some miners to a that proxy.

I think this is doable and customers will like it more than rig-leasing sites because they can rent their hashrate from a big/trusted pool instead of stranger people.

Some coin right now is (at least making people think they are) earning >.01BTC/MH right now.

What the heck are people mining?  Anyone want to spoil the hunt?

ShibeCoin maybe?

I think you're right. Shibecoin is what I see being mined on one of my rental rigs.

Someone switching their hash power isn't going to make people pay more for LTC Smiley
