After a set of your players (a tab) gets stuck pending you really can't do anything to free them it seems. I have tried to delete the transaction by right clicking on the transaction in question and choosing show transaction details. Copy/pasting the tx id after the deletetransaction command. I get a successful, restart the client. The players are free again but the next move I make gets them stuck pending again.

Any ideas?

Snail - My player was killed while I was away from the game.
It was sitting in the gated area at the spawn area (NOT inside the Red strip).
Was this because it was left idle for too long, or did someone actually bother to come into that area and actually kill idle players who were not doing anything at all and had no coins etc (can't believe that would happen)...

Let me know. If it is a case of being Idle Too Long, then is there something that can be done to stop that happening in the future?

someone killed you.;

you only die on the coloured strips (where you spawn) if you stay for more than 30 blocks.

I actually killed a few for a laugh, sorry...

The gamestate can be got from client by doing game_getstate <blocknumber>

so nothing can be cheated, and the history can be checked any time

dev focus on adding a few european nodes because we can't mine. 3 hrs since last block @0.5 diff with 10 mh it's clearly a network problem.

i have more than 1 name (colour) Cheesy and yes, i went to the red area to do it.. to loot with my red.. but someone else stole it first

yes, do -rescan maybe to fix

anything you mined in a fork that wasn't the correct one is lost.. many people did.. needed to keep persevering

i believe the patch was applied around block 4500? (for people to download)
When it all synced up, no one had got any coins from the map in that "chain".. so the miners only received around 4k-5k coins.. which means probably everyone who was mining bar 1 or 2 miners lost what they mined...

there are probably nodes all over the world atm

if you are mining scrypt (you have set it?) i assume you mean 0.05 difficulty.. keep mining, what is happening atm, is a large merged mining pool(or person) is mining sha256, not giving you a chance to put your scrypt blocks in. keep going and you will mine some blocks when sha256 difficulty increases

http://huc.explorer.dot-bit.org/

1 = scrypt
0 - Sha256

should of used kimoto or something this isnt a mine and dump coin so diff should retarget instantly every block or a large player could fuck everyone up

nope

So I gave it the old college try again this afternoon. My situation was it mined fine for a short period of time, then the Pool 0 is Slow type message in CGMiner.

After a bunch of noodling, what it turns out to be is somehow that wallet gets corrupted and you can't mine on it anymore... I was able to send the few coins I had to another wallet on another computer, but for whatever reason mining would not work. Tried every variation of deleting files, etc. The only solution to get mining to work was to start a new wallet.dat file.

So, like I said if this happens to you, try to transfer them onto another wallet and start over.

Hey Snailbrain,

Does the client you use to play the game have to be in server mode?

this was a interesting coin but community couldn't mine it at launch cause of wallet sync issue..
surely big amount of coins are collected at a few big mining rig
that will be the reason coin won't have a community and won't succeed..
the dev didn't cancelled failed launch to make a relaunch..
so i think wallet sync issue was on purpose !

no read up.. when the fix was applied - around block 4500, no coins on the map had been mined in that fork.. so, the miner(s) only got 4.5k coins till people could play -- you can check this whenever you want.. every action is in the chain Smiley

as i said early in the thread, stick with it

people got angry because they couldn't make $$$? if they would have stuck with it - probably they would have a lot of coins

I said to be patient, it's not like we changed some parameter and made a new coin Smiley

possible issue, could make the block chain size quite big >> p2pool (seems where the sha256 mining is coming from) is an addition 14kb/block.
