you only die, if you are killed or stayed in spawn for 30 blocks -- or destruct -- or your general gets killed, then all other hunters die

i was mining on huntercoin qt #1 release qt where i mined and human mines 12000+ coins i updated to vers 1.01 then 1.0.2 again to 1.0.3 and finally 1.0.4 and all i ever get is 1.01 unconfirmed coins and a stuck block chain at either 22 blocks 4500 if using 1.0.0 or just not downloading past 8150 if origional wallet re instated. iv kept copys of all %appdata% roaming files as to be able to go back to older version and see if blk chain updates. is there any way i can recieve a refund of the missing 12000 blocks  current value un known as huc difficulty is now soooooo high a coin cannot be mined without a rig the size of jupiter. dificulty was 4.4k when i mined last and spent 2 days wandering around and around alt relity collecting coins to find out really all iv done is sit in my cave clicking at nothing 😖

You are in the same boat as everyone. I mined for hours on my piddly rig and got hundreds of coins, but they were forked, we were mining on our own, not with/against others, so you would get all the coins in your fork, which is why you got so many. Most people got coins and then once the fork problems sorted had none in wallet, but we all knew it was buggy at the start and being fixed, so nothing to do, no one will compensate you for "lost" coins, because you in fact, never actually HAD the coins in the first place.

Think of it like mining for gold, and finding fools gold instead...You had fools gold, not gold...

We will be launching a Huntercoin focused pool very soon.  It will be a simple and easy to use, low/no fee pool.  It will eventually supporting merged mining on both sha and scrypt, but will likely be scrypt only at launch.  We also intend to experiment with a unique mechanism for verifiable payout, down the road.  We are currently stress testing the basic underlying infrastructure.  Our hosting resources are temporarily funded by private sponsorship.

Although the core development team is comprised mostly of "lurkers" on bitcointalk, we are well known within certain pockets of the coin communities.  We can offer reference privately upon request, for serious sponsorship or investment inquiries.

While we applaud the efforts of senne and others to get a pool up, we do not feel that p2pool alone is appropriate for most, particularly for newbie miners.  Also, his configuration sounds like it will be particularly high latency, which will likely cause the pool to under-perform.

We are pleased to see some bigger, existing pools trying to help out.  However, a single dominant pool is more of a problem than a benefit for any crypto, and could be particularly dangerous for this chain due to the human mining process.
