Hello guys,

Need some help. How exactly do i configure my Z9 to mine BTG on mining pool hub?

i seem to be getting about 2/3 discarded and 1/3 accepted

thank you!

That's normal. Keep an eye on your hashrate on the pool and you're fine.

Discarded is not the same as rejected.

Updated! Since you work for the pool, I did add it to working but made a note that it wasn't an independent review. I actually plan to take mine off BTG later today, so I can test it if nobody else does...

Great if you could do a test :-)

It's sad to know that Bittman cheated on me. I also ordered a Z9 in the first batch, but it hasn't come yet. I just got a text today ABOUT the cost of customs clearance from DHL. By the time I get my Z9 network complexity will increase and it will not return costs. I will never buy asics again.

What are you talking about?
You ordered a product from a shop with delivery between 20-30 june. They ship based on FIFO.
Today its 23.june and you miner has shipped.

Exactly how did Bitmain cheat on you?

I believe someone said Zec is working on Supernova but it’s not listed on the first post.

All coins AFAIK are now working on Suprnova. I thought I'd changed that, thanks for pointing it out.

Works just fine, I tried the Auto switch, Zcash, Zencash, BTG, and Zclassic and all work.

Nicehash works just fine for me so far with no disconnects, anyone know how long before it bombs out?

I think if it started working fine, then you should be good, until the next reboot.

My Z9 Mini is on the Way now  Grin
Is Nicehash still working bad and are any mining pools for ZCL available?

Zero change in Nicehash as of last Friday. Others may have had more luck, but no dice here, still averaging 50%+ rejected...

And hmm. Nobody DID do any ZCL testing (or reporting at any rate). Hmm. I'm sure we'll have some more feedback soon, but I'll add the coin to the testing section (I avoid it like the plague, personally, too many wallet issues, so I haven't tried).

I've having the same issue with the Anitminer Z9 Mini and Nicehash.  It starts out with low reject rates, sometimes zero.  But over time it drops and drops until it fluctuates from 100% rejected to 80% rejected.  Reboot and the same thing happens.  I've tried different speeds - no difference.  I've tried pools in USA, EU, HK, Etc.  All work the same.

Did you figure it out?
Did you give up and pick some other solution?
What was it?
Anyone else?
I really just wanted instant bitcoin ... but I guess I may need to mine a particular coin.
Any good sites for Equihash mining profits besides whattomine?
Off the wall profitable coins?
Lots of questions (and frustration) - Thank you

So I have been running mine wide open at 750 MHz (the max you can set), is it seems to take it just fine.

Here's power consumption running at 750 MHz.  Note that there are peaks as high as 485 Watts, so keep that in mind if you plan to run several of these from a single PSU.  The baseline consumption running maxed out is 350 Watts.

After 5 hours 20 minutes, average KSol/S is 16.39 and 0 HW errors:

And things are looking great pool side as well:

From the above graph, you can see where I went from a 650 to a 750 OC setting.

Wish I had about a dozen of these last fall!

I'll test mine on Prohashing when I get it but I'm waiting on tracking

Someone posted over on Prohashing, looks like the Z9 is not working there at this time.

Just saw an updated post on Prohashing, it is reported to be working using the algo specific equihash port 3336. I will have my Z9 soon and will confirm.

I suspect this should work on 3336 because my GPU miners work better on the dedicated port.

Here's my Bitmain Antminer Z9 Mini review if anyone is interested, thanks to Crazydane for the trustworthy watt report @ 750 OC
Added this thread to the description of the video as it is a great resource and love OP taking time to add to it/update the pools that are working with the equihash asics

Thank you for posting, let us know if you keep it at 750 and how it responds.  Also, I see you are on MPH.  For some reason my Z9 is earning on MPH, but it is not registering on the dashboard, graphs, worker page etc.  Did you have any similar problems?  I have successfully mined using the Equihash switching, BTG, ZEN, ZCL and ZEC.  I am generating coins but no record of my miner at all on the pool.
