Focus on accepted, rejected and stale shares, but most importantly, your poolside hashrate. Mining on Flypool now with 0.4% rejected shares and 0.2% stale shares. Discarded shares are 5x the number of accepted shares, but 6h avg hashrate at 16.9ksol/s poolside just the same.

MPH's Equihash switching port is working as well. It won't mine BTG though.

Flypool has a message: "Because of performance issues with the Zcash client we are unable to send payout transactions to z addresses! Therefore DO NOT use z addresses to mine on the pool". How are those mining on this pool dealing with the issue. please?
Just mine to a t-address, works brilliantly. I don't know if any pool supports mining to z-addresses, as such transactions are pretty resource demanding. The Sapling upgrade, scheduled for later this year (hopefully) may change that. Thank you!

I just sent you 10KMD for testing. Please PM me on discord or here and we can work something out. If anyone else is interested please let me know, we will add coins or update our pool to accommodate asics per request.

What is the point of using different pools when there is %0 pool fee antpool.? I mean why not Antpool? Anyone using it? (Genuine question) Also after OC (I am on 725)(70C)(seems fine, the same temp as 700 or 750, the difference is 1 to 3 degrees C) I failed to make a SoundProof Box to it, it has 1 fan so suction is not strong enough to pass it all the way i think, it gets too hot,(85C) Anyone made one, can I see a picture maybe. Thanks

stratum+tcp://us1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 t_wallet.worker_name any password That's working for me. Freq at 650, fan at 80%, 15Ksols/s. Temps are at 52, it's in a fridge. :p

Why not just "wallet.worker_name" The "t_" is confusing. Also flypool just isn't working for me. Any other pools currently working? I saw the list at the top. I'm just looking for an update.

What is the best configuration for mining in the US/Canada on flypool. Can you use a fake wallet address if need be?

NOTE--now including more info on forks as I get it/you post it. Any coin not posted here check in the reddit thread at the bottom, I am only adding info on DEFINITE fork dates. Assume most coins will fork eventually, other than Komodo.
NOTE--added a field for untested so any Z9 owners who want to test can give a whirl. Pool runners or just general curious users can post pools they want to test in this thread and testers can respond, I will update as best I can...
Running for about 10 hours on Luckpool.net and everything is working perfectly. From the chatter on the site and a number of links provided there are many Z9s running well on the pool ranging from 15-17k SOLs What wast the ip and port for luckpool? Using zhash.pro but I really like luckpool and would prefer them.

Why do this? I have 2 Z9's on Flypool and setup is exactly as stated above. t_address is "don't use a z_address" All ZCash transparent addresses start with a t. Only transparent addresses are supported by mining pools.

Things may be different now, but when I prepared for my Z9, the PPLNS payment method did not work. Any other payment method seems to have a fee. If this has changed, there would of course be no incentive to use any other pool. EDIT: Anonymous mining also comes to mind as a legitimate reason.

I’ve been messing with my two units.
I’m stable at 775M. awesomeminer let’s you use the API to set whatever freq. you want. 16.5 -17 common with bursts over 18k. I was SHOCKED at how much they underpromised and over delivered. Certainly done as a “we won’t fuck your coins up” political move. Thing is pushing almost double advertised hash rate at extremely respectable temperatures. I have a lot of S9s and this thing is a dream compared to those monstrosities.
I can’t imagine that the standard Z9 is not far behind. Jihans confirmed 30-40ksol. I’ll bet the price drop on batch 2 is because of one or two reasons.
1: they might announce the Z9 before the second batch of minis ship. This would be a disaster unless they’re like 4-5 grand 2: they were actually scared of forks.
There’s only 12 ASIC chips in these things! I think an S9 has 169 or some shit. Maybe memory was a limiting factor?
I’ve gotten this thing successfully mining on a whole shit load of pools (funny enough not on the one pool I want to mine, slush) Zen on suprnova is treating me nice and so is ZEL solo oddly enough
I only wish I bought more of them. They boot FAST (compared to a good 5-8min S9 boot.)
Not really worried about the stock freq. overclock to 775 seeing fans at 50% are yielding sub 80 degree chips.
I don’t know if they’re more susceptible to chip failure than an SHA256 asic chip at increased frequencies, but tomorrow I might push it even a little more to see where the stability point and the temperature point meet. I would assume a silly amount of hardware errors would be indicative of stepping it up too far.
These ASICS are unreal.
If you have any Questions I’m a bit of a mining guru. I’m the in-house expert for an about to launch collocation space in Idaho. Happy to help.

I read here that all Supernova pools are working, but I can't mine BCI on Supernova, getting 100% rejected shares, whlie getting 100% accepted on offibical BCI pool, so issue is not on my side. Can somebody confirm their z9 mini works on supernova BCI?

Received my first z9 yesterday. Am running pplns on Antpool at 750MHz. The earnings seem low. Will report once I get 24 hours in. I have another z9 arriving today. Will try another pool and compare.
