Question- when using Suprnova pools with Z9 looks like pool suggests to use ccminer port. What to do if ccminer port not available for the particular pool (such as in Hush's case on suprnova)? Is the only difference the difficulty? Should I just simply set a particular diff in password field? If so what have y'all seen that works well? Thanks!

No isues mining zen on suprnova.  Been on there the last 3 days.  No restarts or anything, rejection rate is insignificant for me.

Trying to get Hush & Zec working on 2miners with the z9, high diff ports are OBVIOUSLY too high diff, was getting like 1.2 shares per minute with half being rejected. Trying the lower diff ports now, seems to work better.

Convo with support staff via telegram didn't help. They claim since it is overclocked that is why i'm having issues. Not sure if I trust them, they seem a bit triggered / salty as you can read below towards the end:

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:18]
trying to use z9 with 2miners hush pool and getting lots of rejections

B, [22.07.18 15:23]
[In reply to PhAlAnX cOiN]
which difficulty port are you using?

B, [22.07.18 15:23]
high diff is better

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:23]
i'm using the higher one, i'll switch to it now

B, [22.07.18 15:24]
okay, we've spent a lot of time testing it, should be fine

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:27]
restarting z9 so i can watch shares directly with 2miners on default pool brb

B, [22.07.18 15:27]
okay

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:32]
last share 2 minutes ago... but miner says just a few seconds

B, [22.07.18 15:32]
is it a rejected one?

B, [22.07.18 15:33]
could you please check if you got the same issue at the zec.2miners.com pool?

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:33]
after 3 min uptime i have 3 accepted and 2 rejected

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:34]
yeah i can restart z9 with that info in there brb

B, [22.07.18 15:34]
is your ASIC overclocked?

B, [22.07.18 15:34]
maybe too much?

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:37]
it is overclocked but not getting hardware errors and works great at all other pools

B, [22.07.18 15:37]
or other pools are receiving the wrong shares... Smiley

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:37]
getting paid nonetheless appropriately

B, [22.07.18 15:38]
yeah

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:38]
k 1st share rej on zec 2miners

B, [22.07.18 15:39]
ok, let it work for 10 mins and let us know

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:39]
ok

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:47]
getting 1.23 shares per minute diff is clearly waay too high

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:48]
how should i adjust difficulty? password field? should i use same port?

B, [22.07.18 15:50]
it is not possible to adjust the difficulty

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:50]
😔

B, [22.07.18 15:50]
you could just select the high diff / low diff port

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:51]
i'll try the low diff port and see what happens

B, [22.07.18 15:51]
okay

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:51]
may want to update the website to let people know z9 isn't fully supported

B, [22.07.18 15:52]
Z9 is fully supported

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:52]
maybe i have different z9 than everyone else?

DuDlik, [22.07.18 15:53]
[In reply to PhAlAnX cOiN]
Use other pools. Why you spend time here?

B, [22.07.18 15:54]
[In reply to PhAlAnX cOiN]
Your one is overclocked to much. That's it. If other pool will pay you for the invalid shares - use them of course

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:54]
because thought z9 works here, apparently it doesn't. you guys are best alternative for hush, i'll try tweaking it but may have to use other pool

DuDlik, [22.07.18 15:55]
Ok use another pools pls. Stop flud

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 15:55]
wow angry much? dude just trying to get this to work chill out

DuDlik, [22.07.18 15:59]
You have overclocked asic
We have tested pools with z9
But you discuss 1 hour about “pool is not correct”
And you have idea about another pools - works greater.
Use this pools and don’t trash our time pls

PhAlAnX cOiN, [22.07.18 16:00]
wow 1 hour? started this convo with out at 3:23pm, it is now 4:00

I'm not surprised they didn't want to help you after you basically called them idiots suggesting the Z9 shouldn't be listed as supported. Are you seriously suggesting that despite the other dozens if not hundreds of Z9s that are functioning properly on the pool, you still believe that the problem isn't on your side?

It's in the first post and has come up several times: like the A3 and X3, the Z9 is not supported by Nicehash.

and 0 blocks thus far on the 18th ? come on, what are the odds of that

Check your Antpool Zcash dashboard - I have been with FlyPool since seeing the ZEC decline on Antpool - I now have a balance in my AntPool account as if they finally credited me what I was mining during those low payout times???

Please confirm if you see the same!

Are you seriously suggesting that despite the other dozens if not hundreds of Z9s that are functioning properly on the pool, you still believe that the problem isn't on your side?

Actually I did manage to get the z9 working on 2miners pool, Hush mining (when it is profitable to do so which is rarely) is going quite nicely over there  Smiley Found out through trial and error that the instructions on their site as well as in the convo to use the high diff port is absolutely incorrect. So yes, the destination one reaches if following their instruction on setting up the z9 on their pool is that of z9's not being supported. Unless you call submitting 1 share every 2 minutes on average as being 'supported'. Problem wasn't on my end, was definitely on theirs.

Their claim that overclocking was the cause of issues is not only incorrect, but illogical as well since an overclocked miner with higher hashrate would be better able to handle a higher diff port as opposed to one running at stock clocks. Maybe the high diff port they encourage everyone to use is to simply reduce server load Huh

But yeah if you want to mine on 2miners just do the opposite of what they suggest and it should be fine  Cool

Guys. Stop dealing with those unreliable pools. Just run on luckpool.net or luckpool.org. Solid, zero problems pool. I've used them for a year now on zen.

depending on the pools payment method, 24 hours may not be enough to get a clear picture of profit returns.
