Investing in electronic money requires a wallet to keep your money safe. How to keep your wallet away from hackers, hackers or theft? You need to set up a security password and install the fraudulent identification software.

If you keep your wallet very secretly then your wallet may be safe. Don't share your password or info to others. Try not to keep the info in pc. You can try offline wallet.

This is for those who use wallets with cheap transaction fee, such as ethereum based wallets.
There are some who cannot yet afford to purchase a hardware wallet. On that note, i have a suggestion on how your wallet can be safe from hackers. I have always noticed wallets that get easily hacked are those that are subject to public view.
Try as much as possible to have a separate cold wallet address that you do not copy and paste the private key, and neither do you share the address with anyone. You can use it to store most of your valuable coins.
Even if you want to transfer any coin or token to an address belonging to another person, first transfer it to your public wallet before sending it out.
I think it's quite helpful, it can also be applied like that. maybe I can try it. but in my opinion the most important thing is to secure the wallet by securing extra 2 Factor Authentication (2FA).

It's very difficult to protect your online wallet from the Hackers that's why u recommend you to use tha hardware wallet as much as possible. As you said some of poeple can't afford it , it's price is little bit high but it's also more secure.so i think we can buy it for our safety.if you can't afford it then you can use the paper wallet, it's also vwry safe and secure. Remember only one thing that never share your private key with anyone so no one can hack your wallet.

I will refrigerate my private key, I will never worry that my wallet will be hacked because there is not much money in my wallet, I believe hackers will not come to my wallet, and I think my wallet is Very safe.
I hope you're right, but we can never be too sure. I use protected networks and keep passwords safe. I also liked the advice about disconnecting and going offline when doing transactions. Who knows, maybe hackers will go for almost empty wallets.

the best protection for me if you are using free wallets such as MEW or other wallet is avoid going to untrusted sites on the net. use metamask or other authenticator that can help protect your wallet from harmful hackers. Kaspersky antivirus can also helps you to protect your account from thieves on the net  right now by the help of there secure identity feature. lastly is dont trust anyone with your private key, keep it just like an treasure.

If you keep your private key in a safe place and do not share it to anybody then I think your account can not be hacked anybody. Be aware from scammers.

The greatest threat to the security of your funds is the constant clicking of unknown unverified links in your email, unknown website or phishing website! Avoid this and you are more than 90% safe!
Right. Good point. Can we use better firewalls and antivirus software to avoid this? I don't click anything suspicious but still I don't feel protected or secure from hacking.

Well, that's an incredible way of protecting your wallets from hackers though i personally kept my wallet's info or private keys through a piece of paper and stored it from a place where i am the only one who knows its location. Phishing sites and malwares are 2 of the reasons how hackers can enter and access your files from your own computers so its best to be extra vigilant whenever your'e browsing.
You're right. Usually we are mindless when we are browsing, we can click something suspicious or go to malicious websites. And then we ask why we are hacked. In this world, double vigilance is the key to security.

First of all ALWAYS avoid the phishing attempts, Always use the verified links to websites, exchanges, wallets etc.
Never open any kind of link sent to you by the person known or unknown to you. Try to keep the passwords, private keys, backup phrases etc of your crypto-wallet in a separate device like external storage device. Install one of the best anti-virus, malware protection software on your computer to prevent any kind of hack tool to intervene into your computer...
I think these are the easy precautionary measures and I also use them to keep my wallets safe from hackers.

Really, wallet makers happen to be safeguarding so to enable them to not really end up being damaged through anybody, simply because they don't would like their own wallet status could be broken simply because you will find mischievous, however the reason why there's nevertheless the wallet within the crack, all of this due to mistakes personal wallet owner who's not really cautious. Whenever possible everything all of us frequently make use of much better don't open up through search engines and so on, ideally within book marks that people frequently make use of as well as open up this through presently there.

Well, I think you need to divide your funds in the wallet 3-4 if you have a lot of money of course not 100 % , make keys and save to a flash drive and just install metamaks , that's all

You are vulnerable for a hack, if:

I visit non-secure, suspicious resources from a working machine,
I put the passwords qwerty12345,
I am a big mouth,
I do not consider necessary to take care of the authenticity of the site,
I do not follow the precautionary measures against phishing,
I do not follow the development of "cybercrime", the last Trojans, trends in social engeneering, etc.,
I use Windows OS.....
