Pushing 10 hours! This is a long one (that's what she said).

As usual , the hoppers left us to do the hard work -- then once
it is done, they return for the spoils of the lucky ones Sad

Doesn't matter, let the hoppers hop. with CPPSRB they will not reap any rewards for any work they did not help do.

Is there any plans in the future to open up the ability to manually choose a minimum difficulty/worksize settings?

I don't think so, there's not really a valid use case for this.
Mainline Eloipool already does support miners specifying a requested difficulty, and that might make it onto Eligius eventually.

I am on a limited very capped data account, when I used to mine at Bitminter I could set the diff to 256 for the S1s and that seemed to cut the data usage in half.

Try pointing them to a local proxy like Slush's proxy.  Then it's one connection going to Eligius and it should bump the difficulty up a bit more than each one individually would.

We should be in fail-safe now/soon/eventually/?

My miners status changed to:

         Unpaid Balance   Shares Rewarded
As of last block:      0.00000000 BTC      100.00%
Estimated Change:   +0.18977860 BTC   -3.65%
Estimated Total:      0.18977860 BTC      96.35%

That is with 5TH/s.  The above is not normal.

And the queue shows:

Payout Queue

Total: 0.00000000 BTC
Block Count: 1

Number   Address   Age   Balance
Note: There are also 1426 addresses with timeout balances less than 10 TBC but more than 2 TBC, totalling 0.00000000 BTC which are not included in the automated payout queue and will be paid manually.

But the back-end is running fine and my miners are mining away happily with shares being accepted!!!

mine too. i think i saw payout will be done manually. so i'm assuming it's gonna take a while to see btc arriving to wallet. looking forward to see it fixed asap.

I'm now showing hash rates of 0.00 but shares are still being accepted.

Disregard, it cleared up.

Mine looks the same way.  "As of last block" is 0 but "Estimated Change" looks about right for the total I should have mined since my last payout... it's far more than I stand to get from 1 block anyway like "Estimated Change" usually displays.

What is failsafe mode exactly?  I wish they'd update us when they do something like this.

Mine too. It seems, it starts happening since block 305341.
5 blocks passed (305367) since then, still balance stuck and not changing!
And occasionally hash rates goes to 0.00 too!
Any update plz?

The good thing is that this only effects the stats page. I posted about the stats error to bring awareness to the problem to those that can correct it.

The mining is going along just fine.

For me, if its 6, 12, or 24 hours I don't care as long as shares are still being accepted from my miners and the pool is solving blocks.

Its not just the stats page, it delays payouts as well.

The 3 hour rate is about 20% down here , are we all in the same boat ?

Takes ages to get that back up ( like when the room gets too hot and they take a hit ) - which
from what I gather is what gives you more Buck for your Bang Cheesy

Just a stats issue, although I did a rewind on CPPSRB back several hours to make sure it gets corrected properly.  Should correct itself shortly.
