Trade page is up but it looks like trade itself is disabled.
Also deposits are still stuck...
Admin said hours ago that they would do it manually but mine still haven't come through.
Mining is still going ahead fine, and withdrawls seem to be working.

Maybe I have some log updating problem then, since it does not show up on the Trade page of my account. [EDIT] = I can now see the updated transaction log. The only "problem" for me now is that mining rewards stopped 1 hour ago. [EDIT]² = Mining rewards came back into my account 6 minutes ago after 1 hour and 20 minutes without payments. After reading this thread I'd been nuts for some time, since I have some BTC invested with ScryptCC. Anyway, just to let you guys know I can now access the Trade page just fine, after a couple of hours trying with no success. I'm still not sure about what to believe, but at least the website is back to its normal working.
[EDIT] = I can see the Trade page but the Open Chat shows 0 people online and the last trade was 10 hours ago.
Regardless of what's been said in this forum thread I can only speak for my experience with Scrypt.cc. I started a little over a year ago on Scrypt.cc and have bought/sold, made deposits/withdrawls many many times without any issues. (except when the site is getting hammered for one reason or another). I'm enjoying using their service for now but I know that one day they could just shutdown and run with all the BTC like so many other Cloudmining sites and exchanges. I also mine with my own hardware and invest some of that btc in the sites I list on my signature, if I have a bad experience with them I remove the link right away. IMO it's all a huge risk, it's very easy for these sites to take your BTC and run. I only invested a small amount since it is really hard to be 100% confident in ScryptCC's business model. The rate I have right now is of 39% "interest" a month (considering I can sell my khash for the same price I've bought it), what is ridiculous even if considering more "certain" BitCoin investment options like HashNest give back 5% a month. If you think about our regular world, a certain investment of 1.2% a month is considered a hell of a nice one. Anyway, it is nice to read a story of succesful investing with ScryptCC right after reading so many complaints. |

Just to clarify a few things. Maybe the problem is non-native English speakers?
A Problem with the blockchain.info API is not the same thing as a problem with the blockchain. It only impacts sites that use their API to make transactions and get prices, etc. It has nothing to do with the rest of the bitcoin blockchain world.
Why do some sites rely on the blockchain.info API? Because they need an API from someone, or they would have to roll their own code. Using someone else's API is generally the easier way to go. Hindsight aside, it usually works well... although I remember a few times when it crapped out in the past. Note that it took a dump for every API user, not just your favorite must-be-a-ponzi site Scrypt.cc.
Why would they shut off trading and chat? Granted,I would love to see a news update or message box explaining why - but it makes sense to suspend trading while the 1) manually process transactions to clear up the queue and 2) allow the queue to get down to a manageable size so that it doesn't continue to be a problem. Chat? Well, that trollbox sucks. It eats resources on the trade page, you can watch how much traffic it generates to your browser - imagine how much it generates to 800 at a time, not to mention the work it has to do that doesn't get spewed into the chat box. Personally I would love it to be gone, or replaced with an IRC window or something.
Trade is working at the moment, deposits are coming in slowly (big queue with all those .001 deposits). My daily withdraw processed, life is sweet.

im not very technically minded but what you just said i can understand that crystal clear, and the chat may be down because all day a certain few users keep asking admin wheres my btc after getting an awnser allready distracting them from fixing the issue i noticed when the chat stopped my deposit was shortly in and yes life is good brother live it to the fullest peace |
