The ANN was made in June but still there is no whitepaper and-or extensive explanation of what Telos is actually about? It smells good, but I'd be interested to dig a bit into the substance.

Kryptobay (an auction platform for private and commercial vendors) beta is starting soon.
Payments can be verified by using TELOS as payment. Vendors can become verified for a small TELOS fee which will give a better trust to customers.

Piggybank grows up.. Based on the first feedback of early adopters we have solved the small quirks of the piggybank. Please check the TELOSCOIN WIKI (www.teloscoin.org/wiki) Follow the update information and enjoy:
1. A much faster synchronisation
2. A more stable Wallet
3. Automatic restart of Wallet in case of a failure / now you can sleep as a child again
5. Simple common to start / stop and config Wallet from Terminal
4. Wlan autostart at boot.
Happy staking.

Hey gang, having trouble syncing my MN wallet.... seems to be stuck at block 114953. Maybe I missed an update or something? used to sync fine. Are there any addnodes out there that would help?

Hi, mate.
Use new peers.dat file and replace it in your wallet folder. Can be found in bot channel on our discord, just ask bot, or contact me.

Also you should open port 22123 on your router/modem to make wallet faster sync.

Regards.

by seeing the low price and the high roi, i decided to buy 12 MN at $5 for fun

well now i know why it's so cheap
the wallet is buggy, it using a lot of cpu, after 15-18 days they started to reward and 15 days later i have 4 MN who stopped working because the wallet is unstable and stucks often
now if i wanted restart them again, i should wait more 20 days because there are 9000 MN running who produce 288000 coins daily, so 288 new potential MN
i suggered to the team to increase the collateral but the dev and almost all the team despise the guys who have less 100 MN and doesnt care of suggestions

no big deal, i lost nothing, but in few weeks there will be more 13K MN and it will cost $1-2 each if the team does nothing

edit: now 5 MN stop running

if you use a normal VPS supplier like OVH, Hetzner, Netcup, Vultr, DigitalOcean no masternode will stop working. And this has nothing to do with the wallet software.

Hi,
you need to read the WIKI... the wallet comes with no config. It will use as much as your HW handles (or doesnt in your case) to reach max connections.
You need to manually set it up.
Set number off connections, banscore and everything else.

Check low RAM settings to run a bitcoin core walelt on an Raspberry Pi and you fill learn how to modify these settings.

The "noob" friendly wallet still takes 2 month before it will be released.. First only for VIPs

I have around 2000 nodes running for me.. The first ones wasn't configured properly and will die sooner than later.. Now with reduced load and following simple rules they dont crash:

1. Calculate 512MB physical RAM per Node -> Swap leads to crash
2. The more nodes you put on a single server the hhigher the risk of I/O error coming from Harddrives.
-> Use proper RAID config and at best made of SSD's
3. Use IPv6 to give nodes more available conncections BUT not to much so they can handle them
4. How i do it... give a sh*t on VPS and use proper HW-Servers aka ROOT Servers. This is the only way to know what the "Server" can handle.
5. Setup maxconnections and banscore as well as dbcache

VPS ressources are variable on many services because they put many customers on the same HW. Scalability is many times only in one direction: to the bottom.

Follow it and you may have fun.

hm... it seems to me that if you apply 1MN = 1 VPS then you should not have a problem with masternode.
Why do you think that in a few weeks will be 13,000 masternode and the price will 1 - 2 $ for MN?
