Being superbusy does not prevent to at least just take a single hour to read the latest pages of this topic and post something. This is just disrespectful for the community that care for his project.
If someone is interested in updating the code, this person should just fork the code. Then if the update is good, it will de facto become the new reference wallet. We do not need Gatra, this project is now in the hands of the community.

Interesting... So someone is trying to update the wallet right now, or at least is doing some experiments? Who knows if Gatra is actually working for Riecoin right now, but I do not have high hopes for this.
And the person using the 0.8.6. version should update, as Riecoin hard forked a long time ago, and this older version is not compatible with the current main chain. Unless he or she wants to support the Riecoin Classic, aka Riemoney (original blockchain without superblocks)...

What is up with these people having their brains stuck in 2014? Bots/spams? And some digging about the  wallet: https://www.abuseipdb.com/check/202.100.25.156This person is probably not Gatra, but could be a DDOSer from China, reported 4 times... May be one of these people trying to fork the coin at some points in the past? |

I shut down my Riecoin CPU miners, this is a useless coin with no potential. I have 5 RIE coins available, who wants to buy them to add to their collection? I accept BTC or CRYPT coin for purchases.

Who would be interested in a 'Virtual Machine' OR 'Raspberry Pi' image to run their own Riecoin Stratum Mining Server?
This would enable you to solo mine with the dga speed enhancements.

Till riecoin is not listed in a exchange (im in testing phase with my exchange platform) You can switch to xpoolx other cpu coins, at this moment XMG and Verium are profitable. they are only cpu mining and are listed at bittrex. Currently there is 18 block rewards remaining at VRM pool.

Seriously, if Gatra just took a few minutes to contact some Poloniex staff, they will acknowledge and quickly fix the wallet "maintenance"... Anyone tried to PM him?
They fixed Bytecoin wallet after months... I hope that Riecoin will be the next.
And it is heartbreaking to see the competing project Primecoin gaining much fame and mooning. It could have been Riecoin instead. If prices matched the supplies, 1 RIC should be worth about the half of 1 XPM.

Give @HeyRhett some RIC and he will create a BTC + RIC fork just like he does for Primecoin so he can make $$$ pumping his investments. |

Although this is an obvious unnatural surge, it gave Primecoin great advertising and exposure.
