The mere presence of such reports already tells us that people suspect manipulative movements in the market, you in fact understand what exactly this is happening now. I think that such phenomena are very frequent in the markets.
Well for what is market , this is how it is so make sure that we are more probably to be more aware that market are not to be manipulated , there is a certain movements that only market cant answer what are the most probably that can happen.

Latest article by www.wired.co.uk stated that a newspaper by researchers  at the University of Texas at Austin's department of finance indicates that someone at Bitfinex cryptocurrency exchange may have artificially inflated the price of coins including bitcoin, ether, and Zcash. The responsible for this appears to have been Tether, a cryptocurrency with the same CEO as Bitfinex.
What are your thoughts about this? Do you think they really manipulated the price? Is it possible?
It always happened and will be continue in future, this is a black game always played behind the Stage.

I think it could be possible to manipulate the market if you have a lot of money and can buy a large number of coins. But it is very difficult to do if the market conditions decline.

Well, even without this article, you can say 100% that the market of crypto currency is manipulated at full speed and one of the manipulative inuments are futures for bitcoin. Who is manipulating the market ?! Of course, there are large crypto exchanges. Also, Tezher is used to manipulate the price. All this can be easily seen, but the question is different, but what should we do? I think that you just need to try to play by their rules and try to make money.

Nice point, play along,  not until you are a whale, a big player you can't make or cause a significant change in the market price of a coin.

I fully agree with you, since we have repeatedly mentioned secret societies or groups of investors that unite and perform certain actions on certain closer ones in order to influence the pricing of a certain crypto currency, and also affect the entire crypto-currency market.

Moreover, I am sure that the price is manipulated. Otherwise, how to explain such a sharp drop in the price of bitcoin and altcoins?
It is not known why this is done. To buy at the bottom of the cryptocurrency or strangle the market.

Even without reading the previous answers, I will say at once - yes, it is possible both theoretically and practically. But, it's worth remembering that some poisonous mushrooms are also edible, but you can eat them once

Some alt markets are definitely manipulated, if they have the right size.
Btc is too big imo.

Ofcourse you are right, Manipulation is the order of the day in crypto. There was a massive manipulation in last year bull run and the end result is what we are experience now. Even the bear is been manipulated also. That is one reason why ETF will now be approved now by SEC.

It was thanks to Tether (and fomo from mainstream media) that got the crypto prices so high in the first place in 2017. This market can easily be manipulated when having a lot of widely available resources.

I agree that manipulation is possible, and this is most likely to be carried out. Crypto-currency, this is a good way to earn money on the difference in exchange rates and fluctuations in the price of coins.

This is total lie! Bitfinex bought bitcoins with their US dollars which were converted into Tether. It has already been proved!

Everything must be changed and I would argue that there is a group of people with very large funds have been controlling it. They can just manipulate the market because they also wanted to exchange more and more investors come in and invest in large numbers.
