Allowing players to leave before finding replacements is what really irritated me about Chelsea's transfer, as is Liverpool's. You'll always be in trouble if you have to replace more than four players in one summer. Manchester City sign 2-3 players per summer, whilst Liverpool and Chelsea build a new team every 2-3 seasons. There is no progressive plan.

Where do you see Chelsea finishing this season? Just checking to see to hit you for another side bet since you usually have very strong opinions one way or another 

By the way, I read one interesting stat on twitter this morning. Last 3 times Burnley won promotion to Premier League, Chelsea won the trophy. Don't know if it is true but probably it is since there were years and stats quoted as well. Not really very important stat, but could be used as hopium for Chelsea fans.

This off season i dont follow so much what was happening on the market and with the teams, i dont see any friendly (because for me are shit games) so, this week i started to learn something more about the teams for this season.

The main thing was seeing Ange Postecoglou as Totenham new manager, we all know the fame spurs have, but i think he can make them play again vey offensive, so maybe it can be really fun to watch the games from Totenham this season.

I dont know if Chelsea can win the title. Last season they were really bad ,they got some amazing players but just cannot put them togheter. I dont know if they be able to put them all togheter . Also a new coach will have a lot of work to do and i think they didnt buy the right players. It will take 1-2 season so they can reach the top.

I would say that a couple of seasons in order to return to the race for the title, but there are no guarantees of obtaining. I don't follow them much, they look like a dark horse right now - why don't they surprise everyone? But even if they take 5-7th place, no one will be surprised either. They have a serious plus in that they do not play in European competitions and can plan the whole season taking into account one main competition.

City is miles ahead of the rest of the league. Nobody has a bench as long as City and that fact alone is enough to make them favorites in the second part of the season when titles are up for grabs. City always struggles a bit in first part of the season due to those rotations but it all pays off later on when injury and fatigue kicks in for other clubs and they are as fresh as possible.

Gvardiol singing could be big for them, maybe I am biased since he is fellow Croatian, but he is perfect defender for City and Guardiola. Really looking forward to see how he will adapt to life in City and PL in general.

I'm glad that City lost, but I expect the main result in a different - maybe this game will somehow affect the bookmakers' assessment and the odds for the next title for City will increase. As I wrote, the current odds seem like easy money to me, but if these odds become even more profitable, then I will not be able to resist and make a bet.

This is a great start from Arsenal,the fact that City has not been able to win against Arsenal in the regular time shows that Arsenal has improved a huge chunk compared to the last season where City won every game they played at home against Arsenal.

I think this time Arteta if wants to win the league should start taking seriously every single game even against last team in the standings as we saw what happened last time with Southampton where they were losing 1-3 at home and only managed to get a 3-3 draw as a result,despite doing so they need to improve themselves like they did tonight when playing against strong teams.

What really surprises me is that Newcastle has higher odds compared to Chelsea despite finishing top 4 last season while Chelsea was 12th

I'm not sure a 3-4 loss to Bayern is better than a 1-1 draw to Dortmund  In any case, all odds are much higher than 2, so it will be difficult to choose an outcome. It might make sense to put a "neutral" pick 2-1 in favor of Liverpool (neutral because the majority in the pool would pick that outcome), but there's still time to think.

I don't think Chelsea will lose the game though against Liverpool as they are playing at home right now in the first game and I am sure the fans are expecting to see the "hand" of Pochettino as what he has changed for the better in the team.Liverpool on the other hand has been doing great in pre season games which do not mean anything,they are just to test the players and different setup of game plays for the teams,they are more for the coaches to see what needs to be improved as a last touch before officially starting the season so for me the most likely result is either 0-0 or 1-1 draw in this game.

City is a different team in premier league however they struggles early of the season but as the season progress they become stronger. At least from last few season's start will prove this point. Just look at the odd they have in outright market. I hate it LOL

Newcastle were good in the last season until they lost their way at the end of the season. Hope Liverpool do better than what predicted.

To be honest, with the amount of changes we made to our team, I'd settle for 3rd.

City is logically the favorite once again, I do like Arsenal at 6 odds - they were really good for the majority of last season and have improved their team with quality additions.
United spent a lot yet again but I feel that their money is not well spent and Chelsea changed too much once again.

To be honest, I think Spurs can reach the top 4 if Kane stays - their team looks as good as Liverpool's and Chelsea's.

I think Liverpool will be extremely consistent this year based on what I have seen on the pre season friendly games.Also I think Chelsea has improved a lot compared to last season and this time I also think the management hit it right with Pochettino as a coach so I see them not being very inconsistent and fighting to get a spot in European competitions much different from last season.

Tottenham no matter what players they get they still are a team that are not well harmonized and this has been their "Achilles heel" in many of the last seasons failing to get results in a consistent way.Newcastle I think will be able to fight in two fronts as I don't think they will throw away their league fight for the Champions League.
